He's a turnover machine and he misses too many easy throws.

Get him an offensive line that isn’t offensive.

He's not throwing the ball very well tonight, that's for sure.

Remember Al and Cris getting squishy about how Rodgers looked left and then looks right but came back to the clear release in the middle?

It’s because he’s so good at looking around.

This isn't Ohio State, he has to make quick decisions with good ball placement. He's failing at both. He just looks like he knows what he is doing.

THey can use their first round pick this year to reset like the Cardinals did with Rosen. Oh wait..

He may end up being terrible but I have to see him away from Nagy.

We needed to see (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky away from Fox, too.

Give the guy a pocket.

He’s got no time to go through his progressions.

If he can’t do that, I’ll agree.

What we really need to see is the Bears no longer owned by the McCaskeys.

I still think he’ll be fine but they need to speed up his release. He drops his arm too much and that lead to the fumble on the attempted pass.

O.B. just pointed that out; they said that's the reason his throws on the outs don't come out fast enough.

He may suck and have terrible accuracy anyway, but he looked like he was throwing hurt.

Seven games into my personal 25ish game rule. Hoping to see more Steelers second half-type performances this year, even if there are a few duds mixed in.

Still a rookie so you can throw results out mostly. He's got to improve a lot to be (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in year two.

The coaching and play calling is terrible. Olin constantly breaks down plays in detail and the bad game planning is really obvious to guys like him.. almost every QB under Nagy ends up looking the same -like they don’t know what they’re doing. Mitch, Foles, Fields, Dalton.. the results always end up being the same.

It starts with the coaching, game plan, play calling.. hard to evaluate these guys accurately when all of that stuff is a wash to begin with.

Kreutz was going off earlier in the day during pre-game about how many bad play designs the Bears are guilty of.. and he went into a lot of detail about it too. So, that’s where it all starts.

Guys aren't going to have perfect throws every time but they need to be there 8 or 9 times out of 10. In the NFL if you throw to the wrong side of his chest there is a chance it will get picked or knocked away. Stuff you can get away with in college with superior talent and lesser talent on the other side of the ball like at OSU. Not on Sundays. Not ready to doubt him yet based on the coaching staff he has been working with and him being banged up but next year will tell us an awful lot.

And he had a rib injury...

And he had X-Rays on his left hand after the game....

I'm willing to give him a full off-season and put some people in to let him have a clean pocket.

How many plays can you recall, off the top of your head, where he dropped back into a pocket and delivered a ball and was never touched that wasn't a quick 5-yard pass? I can't remember any.

Again , if your number one franchise quarterback needs everything to be perfect for him to deliver the ball , he’s not really that good . These are the same excuses we’ve heard since Cutler .

I don't think having him not get knocked to the ground every time he drops back is asking for perfection.

Add Adam Hoge to the list of Chicago media guys who read the board:

It's unfair to compare because Rodgers is an all-time great, but his offensive line last night was no better than the Bears o-line and he did okay (to put it mildly).

I didn't see any Packers offensive linemen who looked as bad as the Bears very own version of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man aka Teven Jenkins last night.
