How often do we see back to back Thursday games for a team? Cowboys played 2 Thursdays in a row.

I think they started doing that. Two teams that played on Thanksgiving play the next Thursday night game.

I wish Thursday games would shift to Saturday after Thanksgiving, but the antitrust exemption is really fussy about any overlap with college. It's the right thing to do for player safety, though.

The Bears have had a tough schedule this season, but the NFL managed to make it even tougher by giving them a bunch of opponents coming off of extended rest.

Ravens ending with Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Green Bay, Cincy, Rams, Pittsburgh

1-2 so far, could easily go 1-6

they could easily end up 8-9

One of the stations had some stat nerd on after the schedules were released. He noted that same point in arguing the bears had the most difficult schedule in the league heading into the year.

The NFL also made it tougher on the Bears by giving them a bunch of weeks they had extra time to prepare, thus ensuring under Nagy they'd get pantsed.

So the refs and the NFL schedule-makers hate the Bears. That explains a lot of things.

Maybe they were helping the Bears plan for the future.

Pats @ Dolphins for the second consecutive regular season game. Rare.

They played in Miami in the season finale last year.

Rams have played FOUR straight home games (including Super Bowl).

Not sure if that's ever been done before.

The number FOUR.

The Browns had 3 straight road games (@ LV, WAS, PHI), followed by 3 straight home games (CIN, BAL, LAC).

yes, 3 road or home games in a row aint uncommon, but I never seen 3 home/road immediately followed by 3 road/home

Road games: 0-3 (two 20-16 losses)
Home games: 1-2

The Bears are in the midst of 3 / 3 right now.

Home: Patriots 11/10, Packers 11/17, Vikings 11/24
Road: Lions 11/28, 49ers 12/8, Vikings 12/16
