You're touting a guy for MVP whose team is currently in 10th place in the conference

Talk about a hit to one's credibility.

This is generally the trend for young phenoms. They find themselves during the early years, put up stats, generate buzz and highlights, but they don't win. Then maybe at year 4-5 they start talking about winning if they have been losing a lot. But are they good/mature enough to transform a decent team to a good one? That's what separates the good from great.

Touted him for top 5 in MVP voting and I qualified it by saying it only happens if the record improves and the Hawks find themselves in a home court seed come playoff time.

You must've missed that part when you wrote your post.

Blown out again by a shorthanded Denver squad. Their defense is atrocious and I wonder why that happens to be actually.

Trae ducked COVID just fine. The NBA can't or won't.

Just quietly up the standard for the amount of virus in the system.

With the type of lineup Cleveland employs it would have difficult for him to duck Garland

Great get by Trae, not too many NBA busts become national spokespersons for massive companies. Pretty cool he joins his idol CP3.

 He got his shit pushed in by Ayo last night. Lucky for him the Bulls were without 2 of their best defenders in Ball and Caruso or it could have been even worse for him.

All of this for a guy that will have missed the playoffs 3 out of his first 4 seasons in the league. Hint: he ain't that "valuable" Shakes. And that you are reduced to nothing more than pumping empty stats at this point validates this.

team sucks, but at least Trae still balling. Hawks were +15 with Trae on the court, -10 with him off.

No he didn't just cite +- stats did he? Just Asking A Question. Bagels is not going to like this

He got 43 put up on him by a career backup. They tried to hide him as they always do but Billups was laying in the bushes for that one. His inability to guard a doorstop is one of the primary reasons that they lost actually.

Trae was the only person guarding Simons? That's interesting.

Trae was the only person guarding Simons? That's interesting.

He was the primary defender for most of the night. That is until Simons got up to about 35-37 midway through the third. It isn't like the other guys that they tried to hide him with didn't score. They took terms abusing your guy Trae too throughout the course of the game. Billups forced McMillan to make Trae guard someone. It was laughable seeing all of the switching that McMillan had to do as a way of hiding the gutless wonder. Simons gave him 17 straight in the third quarter alone. Everyone he guarded immediately started teeing off on him. Including the immortal Ben McLemore

The Atlanta Hawks stink! Absolutely stink. Just as I always knew that they would by the way.

They stink much more because of the shitty ass defense that he provides.

Trade Young definitely sucks on defense. I just hope when the Bulls play the Hawks next month they have their full compliment of guards healthy (Ball, Caruso, Ayo) cause they will embarrass Trade.

He is one of the worst defensive players that I have ever seen.

Hawks are starting to get healthy finally and have won 4 in a row. Still a hole to dig out of, but they play a lot of home games the next couple weeks.

I expect Trae to be named conference player of the week later today.

What a Perennial REAL MVP candidate actually looks like!

In the 2022 calendar year, Joel Embiid has taken it to another level. Twitter page StatMuse has recently revealed that Joel Embiid is averaging 33.4 PPG in 2022, which is more than his 31.6 MPG.
