anyone jump out at you from the bowls or regular season that looks like a good fit for the Bears?

I'll start off with a guy who jumped out at me as a guy I want:

Smoke Monday, S, Auburn
6'3", 199

Has the size for in the box play and the speed for coverage. High intensity and a great tackler. A bit unhinged as he should have been thrown out of his bowl game once for targeting, escaped the penalty, then did it again, without any apparent remorse. He is very apparent when on the field. Currently being projected in the 4th but will probably climb, making him a round 3 target.

Burks is really talented, I have been fortunate to watch every game of his this year. Watch the game he played against Alabama.

Burks is going in the first and might even be the top WR in the draft. Let's try to limit this to guys the Bear might actually be able to get without wild Pace trades

I think a WR who might be there for the Beloved is David Bell from PurRick

I am happy to have Fields and no first pick than to be choosing any of these busters who will be over drafted this year. I don't see anything but career backups.

No specific names yet, but clear needs at CB, S, WR, OL/DL (probably replacing Hicks/Goldman and questions remain at OT)

They got Fields and the player they were going to draft in the first round. Can you imagine the fan response if the Bears draft Jenkins at 20 and he gets injured?

I'm not sure why there's talk about Fields injury. Guys get hurt. Kamara missed four games. Lamar is out a month. Henry has been gone six weeks. So what?

I can't imagine any fan caring at all about this season if they didn't have Fields.

Smoke Monday is a fucking great name.

 @ Burks in the 2nd. 312 is always hilarious with these. I think he had Lance falling to 20 for the Bears last year well after it was established he was gonna be a top 5 pick.

The new trend is pairing a QB with his college WR. Let Pace trade up to the 1st for Wilson.

Nas is throwing shade at fields for his injury.

I think Nas was referring to Jenkins' (re)injury, not Fields.

I think you misread his post

Happy to be wrong if I am but to me he's insinuating it's Fields. He's suggesting Chicago is not as outraged as it should be in his mind at Fields being out. He's saying if Jenkins was simply picked in the original 1st round slot then got injured like he did this preseason then we'd be calling for pace's head. We're not doing that with Fields and Nas sees that as a problem. He's said this elsewhere too for context.

You're completely wrong. I'm saying that Mama Bear would need an underground bunker IF the Bears had used a 1st round pick on Jenkins and he needed back surgery before the start of the season. I'm also saying that the trade worked out perfectly for the Bears. They got their QB and the player (Jenkins) they were targeting with their 20th pick.

You SOB

It was me telling you for months Lance was going to go top 2 or 3..and Jones and Fields wasnt going top 10

I still think Lance will be the best out of all of them.

They got Burks 5th best WR.. which means second round..they have Ross much lower than they should..his qb sucks

10. DAVID BELL, PURDUE
BIG BOARD RANK: 71
Bell was one of the most productive receivers in the country this past season, totaling 93 catches for 1,275 yards and six scores. He went for over 200 against both Iowa and Michigan State. He beat up opposing corners and was difficult to bring down after the catch, as he forced 25 missed tackles on the year.

I like guys that break tackles or miss them all together.

When they are on offense.

Oh, that would be nice too. That's all?

I'd like a Reggie White type on the line.

I'd take Marcus Robinson or Marty Booker too.

We already have Robert Quinn

We could probably get Brandon Marshall back.

He likely has fewer mental issues than Antonio Brown.
