I wonder if local boy Sean Payton has an opt out. Did he and Pace get along?

This must be why Leslie Frazier has been mentioned as a candidate for the Bears head coaching position. Yikes.

No thanks. I'd prefer Nagy.

This. Dungy is one of the most overrated coaches in NFL history IMO.

He's a SB winner, he's a religious man and he has a decent coaching tree IIRC. All things that Mama Bear and her cubs care about.

I would be ok with Harbaugh but I think you would have to have a backup plan in place. I could see it turning around fairly quickly but he would burn himself out in 2-3 years. I think he is a bit of a nut job.

Oh man at first I read that tweet as the Bears being interested in Dungy as HC and goddamn that would’ve been awesome

Even when the Bears do the right thing, they do the wrong thing. They are going to keep Pace, let him hire a crappy GM, and force Les Frazier on them. The next four years will be worse than the past four years.

Harbaugh would be awesome. He'd either succeed (likely) or burn the whole organization to the ground.

He did have a pretty good GM in SF though. Doesn't have that here.

Why is no one interested in Eric Bieniemy? Bears should jump on him or Byron Leftwich. They will more than likely overpay Harbaugh.

What has Leftwich done other than bring Brady a cup of Gatorade after a TD pass?

This is like FF thinking LeFleur - a nobody before getting the GB job - is a genius.

The Packers the the 3 years prior to Lafleur's arrival were 24-23-1, under his 3 years they are 39-9.

Yes, and do you expect that to continue once Rodgers is out?
How did the genius coach do when Rodgers was out this year?

LeFleur should send 20% of his check to Rodgers. It's the honest thing to do.

BTW, McCarthy is still the best coach GB has seen in 20 years. Sorry LeFleur fanboys.

I don't know the answer to all of that but I do have stats for 3 years.

He's got some baggage. Plus, Nagy was the original Bieniemy.

No need to shake the same tree again. I'll be a great offensive coordinator if you give me Mahomes, Kelce and Hill in their prime.

Was QB coach, and a real OC..not like Nagy, 10 years in the league as a QB. Arians is a great guy to learn under. He is 41, great age.

His quarterback threw 90 interceptions the year before the GOAT made his career relevant. I've seen nothing that makes me want the Bears to gamble on him. Tom Brady runs that offense and that won't change until Brady retires.
