Going to be a long night. This umpire thing won't die unless they win.

This game is the Sox' season. If they can't win tonight, they might as well cash it in because if they can't get up for these games at the Twinkie-dome, they won't get up for the Indians (and Tigers?).

Floyd is great, but if these old farts can't hit, he can't help them.

OC was right in saying these guys act as if they had already lost.

That's it. Hawk just drove me to drink.

I'll be back in 10 minutes. Gotta pick up some beer.

I remember in '05 the Indians beat them to pull to within a 1.5 games, then tied it against Jenks the next nite, and Crede hit a HR in the 10th. They went on to lose the next 2 games, before winning a few in a row to clinch in Detroit. One big hit could swing things, and if the Sox don't get that in the next inning or so, this thing is over.

Well they managed to get out of that inning, but Buherle is piling up the pitches, espeically if they plan on pitching him again on Sunday.

I don't think Buehrle is pitching horrible. He's held them down. Could be much worse. They've flaired, blooped, and bunted their way to 3 runs.

WE HAVE TO ROCK BLACKBURN!!!!!

He sucks.

Well, "Griff" has homered in each of the first 2 games, for what it's worth...

Wow...throw back a homerun from a record setting Hall of Famer. Course, same shit would happen at Wrigley too.

It's funny. We put Wise in the lead off spot today. Yet twice he comes up in big RBI spots where you don't need him to bunt or hit behind guys. You didn't need him to get on base to set the table. You needed him to drive in runs.

He's had the bases loaded and a 2nd and 3rd hitting chances. Failed twice. You wish OC was there. But ya didn't know it would be RBI spots when Ozzie did it.

Ozzie shuffled the lineup a little bit, with Wise leading off, Cabrera batting 2nd, & A.J. batting 8th... What difference has it made? Very little...

That's a good question. When the White Sox won the World Series in '05, Dye batted 3rd down the stretch and hit his way to World Series MVP honors...He's been stuck on 32 homers for quite sometime.

Marquez is a terrible ump. There's been puzzled hitters up there from both teams.

The longer this game stays 1 run, the better I feel about the Sox winning it late.

Comcast sucks.

Kenny has got to do something about this lack of hitting. We can do without all the gorillas and would like some fast, timely hitters who can drive runs in on a consistent basis.
This is just horseshit!

Alexei Ramirez is gonna hit the 2 or 3 run homer in the 8th inning. I said he'd have a big game earlier today. He's got 2 hits already.
