No shit, but these assholes (Sux) have been in first fucking place for most of the season. I'm not sure how a team as schizophrenic as this team could do it, but fucking win an important game for once! These two games were the most important games of the season (hyperbole alert) and they pissed down their fucking legs.

What a waste of a summer! I'd rather have them be shitty from the get-go than fuck me at the very end.

No. Absolutly not. They are not better. Buehrle out pitched Blackburn. We should have had 8 runs off that ass hole. Their bullpen sucks.

I won't tip my hat to the Twins if we lose it. I'll give the middle fingure to the fuckin' Sox for losing it.

Just not showing anywhere on any schedule. Even the "maybe" game with Houston and Cubs are showing on the schedules and that game may not happen.

It's suppose to be misery for the Sox. It's suppose to be a bitch. Like every fuckin' broad I meet. Always a bitch. Always torture.

It's not over. If these fuckers can just fuckin' win tomorrow we'll probably win this fucker.

I just hate that I have to wait 21 fuckin hours until the next fuckin game in the fuckin ugly-ass fuckin' dome.

I'm not watching tommorow. I've already wasted 2 nights on this. I've got better things to do than watch these old softball players piss away a prime chance at the playoffs. A chance that for some on this team, might be thier last.

I love the Sox and hope to see them in the win collumn tommorow. But if they lose, at least I won't have wasted my time in frustration.

Sox are still in 1st place. Buehrle pitched well and gave his team a chance to win. The Sox unfortunately, could not get timely hits. As my coach in High school used to say, "Its not how many hits you get, as much as when you get em". Thats so true. They NEED to win this last game and with Floyd pitching, they should have a chance. You just have to hope that the pressure that will have surely mounted now, does not have the hitters squeezing the bats into sawdust and swinging at crap out of the strike zone. I think Floyd will keep them in the game. They just gotta get a couple hits to fall in at key points in the game. If they do get swept, I think its gonna be the Twins taking the Central, as they get the Royals, while the Sox get the Indians and the make-up against the Tigers. A far tougher road. Gotta salvage one here.

Elmhurst Steve, Hawk Harrelson has a saying similar to your old coach. I've heard it from him since I was a kid.

"Don't tell me what you hit. Tell me when you hit it."

Mr. Reason, you are right. Frank will be watching the game tomorrow.

I won't be watching. I may check the a score on the radio or TV in between errands, but I will not be sitting down watching intently tonite like I did for the first 2 games of this series.

Now they don't even control thier own destiny. 4 games left and the magic # is still 5. They're depending on the Twins to lose at least one. Tonite is a must win. They need to treat this like an elimination game of the postseason.

Franklin, a trip from the couch to the refrigerator does not qualify as an errand. You'll watch.

I look at it this way, I only hoped (expected) them to win 1 game in the series anyway. Plus, they've been really good this year at getting their ass kicked the first 2 games and avoiding the sweep by winning the third. I saw last night that the last time they were swept was the first series with the Cubs.

Frank,
They win out and they're in, so they control their own destiny. Even if they lose tonight, if they win out after that (including a possible Twins/Sox extra game) they are in, so with a loss tonight they still control their own destiny.

I suppose, but I'm already figuring another loss tonite. Which would mean the magic # is still 5 with 4 games to go. Bottom line, Sox should have put a stranglehold on this thing 10 days ago. The Twins could have too, and niether has done anything to show that they want to be in the playoffs until the last 48 hours.

Reason just teases, there is no hate there on either side

Actually, even with a loss tonight, the Sox still control their own destiny.

If they go 4-0 and the Twins go 3-0 they force a 1-game playoff with the Twins. If they win that they are in.

Yeah technically speaking that is true.

 But goodness, talk about the most optimistic outlook. These are the Sox, do you really expect them, if they lose tonight, to go turn around and go 4-0?

I don't.

If they win tonight, I fully expect them to win the division. If they lose tonight, I fully expect them to lose the division.

It is all on Gavin tonight.

I was just speaking technically. No. I don't want to have to face that scenerio, RFDC. Of course not.

Sox defidently win the divison if they win tonight. 40-60 chance if they lose tonight. I think the Royals will at least win 1 game vs the Twins. So, with a loss tonight, the Sox will have to go 3-1 to finish the year.

It's time to bring out the gay 2005 theme song. I'll play the last Saprano's scene with it. I know it's stupid. But let's all give it a listen.

I know you don't "want" them too have to do that. But if they do, do you really expect them to go 4-0?

From what I've seen of the Sox and even the Twins, compared to what I've seen from the Angels, Rays, and Cubs, the AL Central has the proverbial snowballs chance in hell at winning the World Series.

I know. They probably won't win the World Series. Still, I'd like to see them get in. What's wrong with that? Tonight will be exciting.

No. Don't think they can go 4-0 if they lose tonight. They might go 3-1. If the Twins lose one to the Royals then 3-1 will force a playoff. That will be tough to go 3-1 too.

Gotta fuckin' win tonight!!!!! We all know that.

This won't help matters any......

Zack Greinke will skip his final start of the season Sunday, with Brandon Duckworth taking his place against the Twins.

Greinke is healthy, but the Royals don't want him throwing another inning after racking up a career-high 202 1/3 in 32 starts. The White Sox likely aren't too pleased, but Duckworth did hold the Twins to two runs over five innings earlier this month.

Depending on the Royals to help us probably wasn't a good strategy anyways.
