I heard that Wolf was the one that recommended that the Packers replace Jared Cook with that cocksucker marty bennett. That was a move the Packers never make, the kind of guy they never bring in and yet they went out on a limb with his idea and it was a monumental failure. Jared Cook looked pretty good last Sunday night.....4-5 years after the Packers didn't think he was worth bringing back.

There was also a 3 headed team that worked behind Thompson that consisted of Wolf, Ball and Gute. Gute and Ball are still there. There is something people do not like about him or something that makes them not believe in him. This would be a PERFECT hire for the Bears. No one else wants him so he will jump at the offer. This would be a very Ryan Pace like hire except people have heard of Wolf where no one knew who Pace was.

Chicago Bears
The world knew the Bears were going to fire Matt Nagy after this season, and they finally made it official on Monday. A new coach will take over a team with a solid defense and a young quarterback with immense potential in Justin Fields. Brian Flores is the betting favorite to become the next Bears coach at +160. Flores was surprisingly fired by the Dolphins but he has a positive reputation across the league. There's a lot of speculation Flores wasn't happy with Tua Tagovaliloa. Is he a bigger fan of Justin Fields?

Other interesting options for the Bears include:
-Leslie Frazier (Bills defensive coordinator) +500
-Brian Daboll (Bills offensive coordinator) +600
-Jim Harbaugh (Michigan head coach) +700
-Doug Pederson (former Eagles head coach) +800

The Harbaugh dream seems dead. Raiders or Wolverines.

Once I heard Polian was officially involved I started to feel it was more of a stretch. Figured Bill would seek out people he knew really well from orgs he is/was connected to.. and I feel like the Harbaugh connection isn’t strong there.

Sucks. Harbaugh is the best of the bunch by far and wide imo. But, I’m not sure which GM would fit with him atm

I just hope that Polian is keeping things in perspective by not going off of ‘who can fix Justin’ and more of who can ‘fix the team’

lol one way or another I can’t wait for Rodgers to walk away and prove once and for all what an absolute house of cards the Packers are that he’s been propping up for years on years.

Packers win 5 games tops this year if he doesn’t play for them

Harbaugh uprooting his wife and 4 (? I think) young children to chase an ephemeral NFL dream when he's likely guaranteed to have a job for life at a top college program in one of the better towns in America to raise a family seems like an unlikely move, absent some sort of Gruden style 10 year deal. The Dolphins owner is a Michigan alum and substantial donor--Michigan's School of Business is the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Speculation that Harbaugh's NFL tease is meant to get other donors/alums to work with the program on NIL deals and increase donations in support of extending Harbaugh's contract.

There's no doubt the Packers would be significantly worse without the league MVP, but there's also no doubt that the Packers organization is far superior to the Bears so good luck with that.

Michigan cut his salary in half and basically begged him to leave prior to this season. I doubt he is at Michigan for life.

That was before he beat Ohio State. He's set now for another 5 years or so. Beat Ohio State once every 5 years and he'll have the job. besides, who's michigan gonna get that's a step up at this point, Urban Meyer?

Things change fast. The win over OSU won't matter much if they go 9-3 next year.

Coaches hop around to move up the ranks. Harbaugh's topped out, any move whether to the NFL or another college would be a lateral move. When you're pushing 60 and you're already HC at a big ten program in the town where you attended high school and college and have a wife and young kids, you might favor continuity over chasing the next best thing.

Rodgers is your organization. Rodgers has the rare ability to make otherwise dumb decisions look better than they are. The Packers organization won’t be superior to anyone when they’re struggling to compete with the Lions.

You want a glimpse of what it looks like? Your team scored 7 points against a struggling KC defense with your backup former #1 pick ‘future of the franchise’ QB whose had several years now to learn the system of your offensive ‘genius’ head coach.

You lot better savor everything last game of the Rodgers era, however long it lasts.

So you think a move from Michigan to the NFL is a lateral move?

Ok. Nevermind then.

You can LOL all you want but the Packers are clearly one of the best run franchises in the league and the Bears have proven to be the opposite. If injuries are not considered they have pro bowl caliber players at WR, RB, LT, LG, NT, OLB and CB to support the MVP QB. They also have a strong candidate for COY and EOY. Other than that, yes the Bears are a better organization.

Many teams like that, maybe Denver for example. They suck. Why? They don't have Rodgers. You're going to be Denver once Rodgers checks out.

This is why Brady should be the MVP. Rodgers has it easy.

Worse than Denver, they will be Detroit.

Let's replace Rodgers of the 2021 Prescott with MItch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. The Packers still win the NFC North. Of course Rodgers is the reason the Packers are dominating their division, but don't underestimate just how bad the Bears, Vikings, and Lions are, as well.

The Packers without Rodgers will regress, but one of the other teams has to improve.

I think the entire discussion from his camp that he is considering the NFL is purely to squeeze more money from Michigan.

Michigan gave him a massive paycut last year and basically asked him to leave. He's job hopped his whole career. He's going to go to the Raiders after they lose in the playoffs unless he gets $11 million a year from Michigan.

Why? He just took a pay cut and then donated his incentives back to the school.

Are the Raiders really going to fire the guy that turned around a disastrous season and brought the team to the playoffs? That would be something, especially if they somehow manage to beat the Bengals.

Not that the Raiders normally care, but it would be a really bad public relations move too.

Are the Raiders really going to fire the guy that turned around a disastrous season and brought the team to the playoffs? That would be something, especially if they somehow manage to beat the Bengals.

if they beat cinci it would be tough to get rid of him. but if they rehire because they are afraid of PR issues... then they deserve a 7-10 season next year
