Ok. Let's talk about this fucker.

1. He's been employed by the Bears since 1983. He was the money man for years. Back in those days, into the early 1990s, negotiating contracts was a big deal. Before the players got free agency. So that was his role for years. Now, it's all slotted and you basically know what players are worth. The decision is to pay them or not. Based on your cap money and what you want to do. So it's easy now.

2. Then, then Ted got to be President 25 years ago or so. The McCaskey's love him. Virginia and her sons basically consider him another McCaskey. Son to Virginia, brother to the boys.

3. Ted is near retirement age. Past it, actually. He's late 60s. I think we sometimes forget how old all of these guys are.

4. I've heard this thought that they can't fire Ted because he knows where the bodies are burried at Halas Hall. That's a stupid thought. The Bears have given him a 40 year career. If they fire him, he's not gonna break bad on them. He's not some up and comer kid. He's made millions from them. His name is Phillips, but he's a McCaskey. He's the son that just didn't come out of Virginia's vagina.

5. The thought of the evil things the McCaskeys have done, that he might divulge, is laughable to me. What evil things have they done? McCaskey are a Catholic, god fearing family. Maybe gone cheap a few times on spending. But so what? Ted was a part of them going cheap a few times. He advised them to do so.

6. Bottom line, they consider Ted a part of the family. They will never fire him. Like I said earlier, just wondering when Ted is just going to retire. He's an old man now. He's made a lot of money. And doesn't need to do this shit anymore. But Ted has an ego. And I think he wants to get this Arlington Heights stadium done before he goes.

7. I still want to know about Virginia's grandkids. I never hear about them. What are they up too? What the fuck are they doing? They prepared to take over? Like I said, they are in their 30s or 40s by now.

Not soon enough. Ted is a fucking cancer.

Just had a chat with a colleague about them. He said one if not two have jobs within the NFL.

Really? That's good to know. I guess. At least they want to know about fucking football. Unlike Virgina's sons.

One more thing about Ted. He rarely speaks. But when he does, he strikes me as a very arrogant, cocky guy. He's got a huge ego. He gets credit for shit by the McCaskeys. But the NFL runs itself. Anybody that owns a team makes Huge money. Some teams make more then others. But they all make money. I would argue that somebody else could have made more money for the McCaskeys over the last 30 years.

Whatever. Teddy has this Arlington Heights project now. I'll be honest. I don't think that will be ever be done. Not with the McCaskey's owning the team. Maybe if the sell the next owner will get it done.

I don't think Virginia's kids want to sell. But maybe the grandkids want to sell once they get a hold of it.

Ted negotiated one of the worst stadium deals in the league but the Mc Caskeys tell him it is great. Imagine living in that kind of backwards world.

It's great to the them because Ted actually got a deal done. Their genius Yale / Harvard son couldn't get a deal done.
