I hadn't looked at analytics but you are correct. It's interesting in that GB has seemingly defied the analytics the last 3 years in terms of win predictions. From what I gather it's because they play more close games than their record would suggest and perhaps the QB performance skews the numbers. I guess we'll see how accurate this basis of comparison really is.

I think it will be very difficult for SF to beat the Pack in Lambeau, especially with a concussed Nick Bosa and Green Bay coming off a bye. I like the Pack by 6 or more.

Bosa doesn’t strike me as the type of guy who’ll be impacted by a brain injury.

The line is currently Pack -6.

Niners playing their 3rd consecutive weekend on the road, 4 of the last 5. Probably doesn't mean as much cuz playoffs + 49ers played most of a season on the road in 2020 due to covid.

No more testing for unvaccinated players. The NFL wants to protect Rodgers and provide certainty to the sports books.

Ok guys, here we are.

Frank Costanza's Divisional Round.

Bengals @ Titans - D. henry returns. Still, Titans are the weakest #1 seed in recent memory. Henry will have to have a huge game for them to win. Dont forget the Titans big win vs 49ers late in the year. That looks like an impressive (comeback) victory in hindsight. I believe the Bengals win this game as they dont turn the ball over much.

Frisco @ Packers - This is a repeat of last year's Divisional game. The Rams, a tough team, had just upset Seattle in Seattle, then they came in and got waxed by Rogers. Similarly, the '9ers are a tough and talented team on the rise, only with a better QB than Goff. I dont think it's gonna be that easy here for GB, but I think as long as they have MVS playing, that they will win. Rogers is determined. Remember the last second win by Rogers in Frisco in Week 3. That somehow feels like years ago.

Doesn't matter if they spot the ball at the 2 or move it up a yard due to penalty, running straight into the wall of bodies is unlikely to succeed:

Fake it to Henry and then peel off an eligible lineman and have Tannehill roll out and hit a wide open 300 pound dude or keep it and scamper into the end zone.

I dont care that u got D. henry.

This is why u dont go for 2 and take the PAT.

Now ur down 9, instead of 8.

You are literally fucking out of the game.

I dont care that ur PAT woulda been from the 1 yd line.

Way too much whirly overthinking.

How can that stand as an interception if a receiver would not get credit for a catch doing the same thing?

100% on Burrow, routine toss to a wide open receiver in the flat and he throws it high and behind the receiver

I think that what the second bad sack he took that knocks them out of FG range?

While the Bengals o line looks awful most of the sacks are on Burrow. He's kinda dumb.

Why would you go back 2 yards. Bad end of game management here.

Peter King of SI fame has predicted the last 8 superbowl teams.

This year he predicted Bills/Rams.

I think Bills get there.

Anyway LETS GO FUCKING NINERS!

Torn on this one. I’d like a pack bucs championship game for MANY reasons.

But I’m not a sociopath, so I can’t root for the packers. Classic catch 22.

I took the Packers last minute at -5.5. I needed a rooting interest.

I just checked betrivers and it was at 9.

Edit: now 10.5
