I'm not sure how you could sell Ryan Pace right hand man to the fans even if he does have "star" potential. Caldwell probably won't suck, but even if he is great, he's 70 years old. You would need to find his replacement in about 4 years.

Maybe Kelly is responsible for all those later round successes that Pace got credit for? I like Caldwell to develop a QB and to put a high quality offense on the field. 4 years is a lifetime in the NFL these days. But, I get why Bears fans would not be happy with these hires though.
