But if Payton is really stepping down in NO you gotta check in on him and see what interest he would have.

I assume that what Nas said was a joke. If it's true, that's ridiculous. If the goal is to give minorities more opportunities, you have to let them move freely with no restrictions or penalties on those seeking to hire them.

from my perspective, it would be better to incentivize the retention and promotion of of minority execs within an organization. That seems like a fast way to move people into upper levels in that an organization that already knows the person has a benefit for moving them up.

It amuses me that part of the Caldwell resume is that he basically made the Lions the same team as the Bears were under Matt Nagy but that's actually a good thing.

Giants have a second interview with Daboll this morning. If he is the guy they want they really need to get it done while he is there if they can. I would imagine he is going to get a lot of interest and would want to play the field at little before making his decision though.
