I find that hard to believe. He was widely regarded as a top prospect. Surely everyone wouldn't turn on him after a just a few games

He was falling before the draft and only the sports talking former NFL players appeared to be in his corner.

He has the physical tools but he's more of a project than advertised.

Morocco Brown, Joe Shoen, Rick Smith all appear to have stronger resumes, but I guess this could be worse.

Rick Smith yes, but how do the other two have stronger resumes? All are just subordinates on good teams. It's a crapshoot with these GMs.

I’d assume if he’s stepping away he contractually can’t coach anywhere else in the NFL. Lol at whoever’s stuck with Taysom.

Morocco Brown has been in 3 or 4 organizations that have done well drafting and constructing rosters while he was there. He has had a hand in the process. No one else has that experience.

There is literally no difference between Morocco Brown and Ryan Poles..they are one in the same, younger guys in spots with teams with success, but no proven track records on their own. It's a crap shoot all the way.

There are MAJOR differences. Morocco Brown has developed under multiple successful GMs. Ryan Poles was groomed by Phil Emery and has sucked for 4 years without John Dorsey.

The Colts haven't won shit and bid against themselves for Carson Wenz a year after bidding against themselves for Phillip Rivers.

They've drafted really well. That's his department. Wentz is on Frank Reich. Drafting well is all you can ask for.

Hey Ryan, we think it might be a good idea for you to interview these three guys, but don't feel obligated to hire one of them....

Yeah when Christ put Judas on his starting squad it was all over after that.

Judas was mad that he couldn't make the starting 11, look how easily he got replaced by Saul...I mean Paul. Seriously, one guy you couldn't trust with the playbook.

They already have the built in excuse when he fails in three years like they do with black head coaches. . Sure they finally hired a black general manager but it was only because the team was so bad he was destined to fail. He wasn’t given a ready-made roster of superstars and tons of draft picks to succeed like his white counterparts are

This team is pathetic. They run the same process and get the same result. I’m an idiot for expecting otherwise. Now they’ll give him a couple old guys to pick from as his HC and it’ll be Groundhog Day.

For whoever was questioning why Bears fans enjoyed the Packers loss so much…it’s days like this. Even when the Bears seem to know they have a problem, their ‘solution’ is just a hard kick to the crotch. They’re almost beyond parody.

Gave him a minute or two before I PTFB, thankfully Waddle and Silvy are on early due to the breaking news. The thing is that we have no idea if Holmes was actually getting any of the racist texts he alluded to or if he is off his meds, whatever the case he was ranting and raving like a lunatic for the few minutes I listened.
