It's not called second guessing if you say it before the AB, but I really would have pinch hit Anderson there so that we could kill two birds with one stone.

Is it me or does it seem like Mauer and Morneau hit every inning?!?

Floyd has really battled tonight. Gotta hopefully get him to go 7, but his pitch count is pretty high right now.

I think the Sox got lucky on that play at first on the bunt, it looked like a tie to me.

That safety squeeze may actually have really saved the Sox here. I know it gave up a run, but it actually helped end the inning more than anything.

Huge for Thornton to only have to throw one pitch to end that inning. He has to get 3 tough outs in the 7th.

6 runs won't be enough to win this game.

I know Dye doesn't like it, but good situation for Cabrera to run here.

For someone who claims to be a Cubs fan, you certainly are keeping a very close eye on the Sox forum tonite. I have 2 posts during the game here, and you have taken a grand total of 90 seconds to reply both of them. Get a life, and try some funny jokes next time k?

Screw what Dye thinks, if he can go, he needs to go.

But Frank.... I got my errands done early today!

Would you like to compare the # of posts I have in the Sox forum compared to yours in the Cubs? Don't bother - you lose.

Waste of an opportunity there. Might be time to get BA out in center.

When Paulie gets up to bat, he might as well just stand there and watch pitches go by.
He fucking sucks, along with Dye and the rest of them.

If I'm Ozzie, I'm absolutely putting Thornton back out there for the 8th.

He's only thrown 10 pitches in his 1 1/3. I trust no one else out there. I wish he could even pitch the 9th.

Thorton has really been the only good part of this bullpen. Jenks still gives me the shits when he comes out in a tight game.

I'd trust Jenks and/or Thornton a lot more if the score is 7 or 8 to 4 going to the bottom of the 9th.

The bat went in front of the plate, Hawk. That's a strike.

Can someone give me a good reason why Uribe isn't playing the line right there?

Here goes the lead.

If this gets ties up, there's no way the Sox win.

Curious decision by Gardy there letting him swing away - it worked out but I expected him to bunt him over.

Here comes the boom!
