Probably so. In that case, I don't think not hiring him would hurt the Vikings owners that much. Vikings fans seem split 65-35ish on wanting Harbaugh. Bears fans would have rioted in front of Halas Hall if Harbaugh had met with ownership and they hadn't gotten a deal done.

I think the reports were already out there that the Bears passed due to the contract demands.

Looks like you are getting Getsy. I have no idea what his actual role was with the Packers. They had him for a few years with MM and then let him go but then brought him back with the new staff. I think he was there to give Rodgers and some of the veteran players a familiar face and voice. MLF ran has his offense and Rodgers also has his own version of the offense so I have no clue what the hell Getsy will run. I don't really care that he is gone. I don't think the Packers do either as they promoted Stenovich over him and it should also be noted that Hackett did not try to bring him to Denver like he did with Stenovich. That tells me what Hackett thinks of him. He didn't even try after the Packers blocked him from interviewing Stenovich. He also worked quite a bit with Love the last 2 years so take that however you want to.

Bears QB coach sounds like either Joe Brady or Andrew Janocko who was with the Vikings this past season.

I do not really care about losing him. The players liked him and the passing game was successful but I don't know how much he was actually responsible for. He didn't call plays and his superior didn't call plays. That is going to be a hell of a jump for him. HC is a defensive guy so this is his baby now on offense.

The people that mattered thinks he is a great coach. That tells me that his plays were the ones that worked. His jump to the Bears also tells me that he knows [Redacted] Love sucks and he is tired of LeFloor getting credit for his work.

Hackett never called plays and probably wants to call plays. Clearly, Stenovich only wants to get coffee and collect a check.

If you learned anything from following off-season NFL, nobody says anything bad about anyone outside of the Texans and Florio's hard on for Stephen Ross.

I suspect this means that unless he finds an OC job somewhere soon, Jim Caldwell will be arriving as QB coach and OC mentor.

Rodgers and Adams volunteered information BEFORE our new offensive coordinator was being looked at for a job.

Sounds like Getsy turned down the Green Bay OC job so he could come to the Bears.

Is there something creative or different about the Packers offensive system that hints at Lafleur greatness. Throw to Adams 50% of the time and let Rogers freestyle the other 50%.

He must be doing something right. In his three years, they are 39-10. In the previous three years, in which they also had both Rodgers and Adams, they went 23-24-1 under McCarthy.

Rodgers played at a high level and the division was trash.

Adams was just starting out under Mc Carthy.

I'll take it as a good sign if he can eliminate the penalties, get plays called quickly and use extended time off as a coaching advantage.

Nagy teams were always disorganized and were worse the more they thought about a plan

Nagy was terrible coming of bye weeks, he couldn't put an offensive game plan together to save his life, it will likely become more and more evident as we hear more about what was going on under Nagy that the defense was the only reason the team won early in his tenure.

The Packers were good at taking advantage of your weaknesses on defense, if a player went down during a game they quickly started attacking his replacement, Nagy was unable to recognize weaknesses on his own team, let alone the opposition.

Stacey Dales is on the Score right now raving about Eberflus.

Unfortunately, she seems like a media simpleton.

He is always going to be at a huge disadvantage at Michigan, I think hevwould have taken any nfl job.

Adams was just starting out under Mc Carthy.

Adams had 35 TD catches his last 3 years with MM. 110/1300/13 his final year when the team still only finished 6-9-1. Anyway, you’re on record as Adams not being that good and simply being a beneficiary of Rodgers.

MM’s offense was stale and predictable. LeFleur opened it up and had Rodgers playing the best (regular season) football of his career the last two years.

Getsy was focused on getting Jordan Love ready. Maybe he can work the same magic on Fields.
