Yeah and he has debunked the notion that which says that any team that he is on will never haven "any chance of every winning anything" too.

He isn't having an All Star NBA Starter sort of season though.

No he isn't. But I'd never have guessed he'd be the player he is now.

And fwiw, I can't imagine any NBA GM taking Trae over Morant.

don't quit your day job.

Your guy does one thing better than Ja and gets smoked in every other area. Even most Atlanta fans would rather have him. If they'd be honest.

by one thing do you mean the entire offensive side of the floor?

And the only thing that Ja smokes Trae in is dunking.

Ja Morant is light years ahead of Trae Young as a defender. You'd have to go back to middle school in order to find a time when Ice Cold Trae actually guarded his position. Ja at least will take covers more often than not. Plus as an offensive player he is nowhere near the ball stopper that Ice Cold Trae happens to be.

Its one of the reasons that his teams will never win anything. Oh yeah they had a "deep playoff run" last year. Savor the moment because that will never happen again in our lifetimes.

another win last night, now up to 6 in a row. Lakers at home on Saturday. Now 2 games under .500 and a game out of 8th spot. Starting to feel a bit like last year.

7 straight wins after taking care of the Lakers today. Now only a game under .500. 36/12 for Trae today. Very nice win considering Hawks didn’t really have their fastball today.

It’s been fun watching Onyeka Okongwu emerge. They found a good one when they got him at #6. A lot better than Wiseman who went #2 in the same draft and plays the same position.

Hawks at home vs Toronto tomorrow night, chance to get back to even.

Count the immortal Malik Monk into an ever growing list of guys that have career nights when being guarded by Ice Cold Trae.

I've been watching Lakers games all year. Monk is sneaky good, and he's gained in confidence all year with Russ being his usual lousy self from the perimeter. Actually Russ has been good from 3 the last couple games, it's about as good as he will get. He remains the largest problem on the Lakers. No floor spacing when he's in, really dumb shots, poor defense and turnovers. I still think the Lakers will be dangerous if LeBron, Carmelo and Davis are healthy going into the playoffs.

Carmelo has really turned into a whiner the last few weeks. Not like him.

Monk was not guarded by Trae, he was guarded primarily by Huerter. Trae was on Bradley.

you really don't have to be a such a liar when you post here. All that does is make me not speak to you again. Do you want that? Do you want to just speak to Favre Fan and no one else when you post in this section?

Stop making shit up just to fit your BS narrative.

This is your final warning.

Beat it. Most of his 3's were scored on your guy Trae. You can move on if you want. I don't care. Just throw the avatar up for the bet you are surely going to lose.

You were MIA when they were in a tailspin anyway. SOme "Hawks fan" you are. And you make up a ton of excuses everytime they lose. Now whose the "guy that is making shit up"? Notice how no one here has claimed that the Lakers lost because "Lebron didn't play"? that would have surely been your deal if it were reversed. You were making excuses about guys "being out for the Hawks" even when they had their 3 best players on the floor and other teams were missing their starting 5.
Fact of the matter is that they are a shit team. Which I called anyway. I could be thumping my chest out about that after every game. I'm not. I'm simply acting as if "I have been there before".

"Final Warning". He's a Fairweather Hawks Fan anyway. When they were losing he was nowhere to be found. Now he's celebrating their "March to Mediocrity" as if anyone cares.
We have a bet that they will finish outside of the top 6 in the conference. That's the only reason I'm continuing to pay attention.

They won't make it. Game is over anyway

For the sake of argument, let's say the Hawks have some magic dust. Looks like a 7 seed. Nets or the Bulls end up at 6.

They aren't going to make the playoffs. Other teams are missing guys currently. Like the Nets for instance. So is Charlotte. So is Cleveland. They are all managing. So are the Bulls. No one is running around making excuses for any of them. He makes excuses i.e. (coaches) (injuries) etc. Fact is they are a crap team and he can't admit that he was wrong about it. I could be celebrating the fact that he had them penciled in as the #2 team in the conf pre season.  . Lets see if they make it.
Shortly after that Trae was an "MVP candidate" Wasn't even in the top 15 last time I checked.

Do you consider #9 and #10 playoff teams?

Nope. Top 8 only. Top 6 are locked. They are fighting it out for the 7th and 8th slots. They won't make it.

Prior to the Lakers game, on Wednesday, Trade Young had 17 points on 18 shots, the next game 21 points on 25 shots. This scrub team is on a mini hot streak despite their scrub point guard. Noting more nothing less.

His winning shot was one of his 30 footers that went in and out, hit the backboard and dropped in.

highlights of Trae taking apart the #1 team in the NBA last night and ending their win streak.

Meanwhile, Trae has won 9 straight games.

I'd take Fred Van Vleet over Trae Young any day of the week. But he is in the class of the "all time greats". Sure he is.

Ice Cold Trae was completely outclassed by Dejounte Murray last night. Trae ducked the cover as usual and Murray did not. Popovich went old school and had Murray check him the entire game while Trae was in the witness protection program when it came to playing defense on Murray.

took atlanta last night at home, only -3 1/2 in a teaser. i guess atlanta didn't know they are fighting for a playoff berth.

they were never in the game. killer loss.

They had a little run about 2-3 weeks ago but now they are reverting back to form. The GM is going to have to tear down this roster by the start of next season if he can. When they win it is usually because their bench greatly outperforms the other team's bench. When that doesn't happen forget it as their starting 5 isn't striking fear in anyone.

Something is going on in Atlanta. Trae only took 13 shots and they won by 20. The other night against Cleveland, it's the best they've looked all year.

Playoffs are going to be epic. I'm guessing there will be a full time Kyrie with the healthy Nets and a rejuvenated Hawks at #7 and #8.

Hawks aren't going to get there. Boston has come on like Gangbusters and the only reason the Nets are even in the conversation is due to injuries and Kyrie's Bullshit. Toronto has come on too. They are all better teams than Atlanta. And they are the teams that will battle it out for 6,7,8 in the conference

Boston or Toronto will get a 6. That leaves 3 teams for #7 and #8. Boston/Toronto, Nets, and Hawks.

i've been following in recent times due to playing the games - it's clear they miss collins. they'll need him back and to hit the ground running on his return after the break. they played the celtics tough in boston last sunday after their stinker with san antonio - and i took them last night in an easy win against orlando.

speaking of boston. philly was a 2 point dog at home against the celtics - mysterious line. i pounded philly with added teaser points and the 76ers lost at home by 48.
