You can see it in their faces. This team is done. This was the chance to really hold on to that lead and they pissed it away.

These Sox are fucking embarrassing. They deserve to miss the post season.

Hilarious!

I hope know-it-all Kenny makes some changes next year. This is fucking humiliating.

Well. So much for this season. No way that the Twins lose against the Royals.

These players have no one to blame but themselves.

I wish I could have a sip of Hawk's Kool Aid. This season is done, over, finished.

Just lose tomorrow and Saturday to put this puppy to rest.

Technically speaking, they still control their destiny.

Technically speaking, you're correct. But the Sox controlling their own destiny scares me more than anything right now.

They have to face Cliff Lee on Sunday, while the Royals just shut down their hottest picture, Grienke, giving the Twins an even easier task at hand.

Sox fans, all I can say is I understand what you're going thru. I felt this exact same thing in 2004. And 05.

Ozzie should kick Kenny in the balls. Then do the same to all his faggoty-ass players.

Exactly. We can't expect the Sox to win 3 games against Cleveland. And we can expect the Twins to win 2 in KC. Even with the left-over Detroit game, I still don't see us pulling this out.

Just got home from work, but it sounds like they wet the bed, blowing a 6-1 lead. This is a choke, being up 2.5 games with 6 to play.

Blame Kenny all you want, but Ozzie filled out the lineup card with a .300 OBP batter in the leadoff position, your best defensive outfielder in left and your worst in center.

Sox will lose the first, win the second, then lose on Sunday, just before the Bears do. Twins will sweep the Royals in the house of horrors.

You can rearrange crap all you want, but it's still crap. These guys just cannot hit anything but a homerun. This is a softball team with no ability to bunt or hit a single to an opposite field.

My thoughts exactly, Doc. That last week of 2004 was hell. I know what Sox fans are going through.

You're right. The Twins are just the bestest 88 win team ever.
