Where will all the offensive plays come from? Getsy has never called plays, but does that also mean he's never designed any? Do the Bears still own Nagy's playbook and might look to carry it over for continuity sake, in which case Getsy will just learn that system?

Too much learning on the fly for all these guys.

He's been handling the passing part of the gameplan for the Packers. Again, Rodgers and Adams love him. That tells me that his play designs or plays he includes in the gameplan are the things that work or the things they love running.

Not having a history calling plays should give the Bears offense a temporary edge. We saw that with Trestman and Nagy. What he does once the league adjusts to him or figure out his tendencies will determine if he will be great or not.

Some guys run and try to get open.
Some guys block to make sure the QB doesn't get killed.
One guy stands back and throws to an open receiever.

I do get that plays matter, but Nagy's playbook was utter garbage. New system...fine, but it doesn't have to be overcomplicated if they have players that can do their assigned job.

Nagy was a stubborn and very petty man.

It didn't work out so well for him.

Hackett and Getsy were hired like 2 or 3 days apart from one another. Rodgers used that time to ‘fight’ for a guy to get a job with a franchise he’s likely to leave before next season?

How does that make sense?

Yeah, I don't think Rodgers or Adams will be back next season.

The division is up for grabs.

I'm reminded of the Wayne Larrivee drop that Parkins enjoyed playing until he didn't..."The arrogance of Matt Nagy!!"

I always got a chuckle when they played that.

Hearing all kinds of crap about Trace Armstrong being a kingmaker, I do not care who is pulling the strings behind the scenes as long as the team wins.

Seems the team will have a markedly better offensive coaching staff consisting of young up and coming coaches rather than the collection of castoffs that Nagy put together last year.
