Last night was interesting . Headed south down dusable LSD at 11 or so, it’s coming down good
But roads are still mostly ok .
I’m a mile away from the 55 exit and I still don’t know why, but cops had LSD completely shut down and rerouting traffic.
So that cost me a good 10-15 minutes. Get on 55 and still coming down hard but roads ok
Get off at 83, and it was like a death trap . Roads completely covered over and not plowed, couldn’t see shit.

There was more snow today, but somehow traffic was better than when there was a little dust last week.

Definitely heart attack snow. Probably close to 9" here in Orland. The intensity has subsided a bit, but its still snowing. My guess is we'll be close to a foot by the time its all said and done tomorrow nite.

Almost to 10 inches here as the snow continues to fall. Shoveled at 5 AM and thankfully it wasn't heart attack snow. No mail delivery, the roads are a train wreck. I-74 was the worst I have ever seen it. There were cars stuck going up the ramps to get into town. The city had to hire private contractors for the side streets and if they don't get here, I don't think I'll be getting out tomorrow. I hate winter.

I run the snowblower through the back patio from the back door and a track into the backyard for our dog.

JORR would be proud to see her run the oval track. We even have a rabbit that makes an appearance every once in a while to get our dog up to speed.

Mine had a squirrel trapped on our deck this morning. It was pretty amusing as the squirrel kept running back and forth along the rail and our dog was in hopping through a foot of snow futilely chasing it.
