I would likely take Jones. Fields will need to take a major leap next year to reach his current level. Fields attitude concerns me more than his shitty play.

Ridiculous. There’s nothing at all wrong with his attitude.

I think most guys could do what Jones did in that situation, Fields is an unkown.. i said he was a slightly better Winston.. that is still better than Jones.

Knowing what we know about Jones and Fields after one year, who would you choose going forward?

I'll take Fields over the noodle-armed Macaroni Jones every time, but especially with no Josh McDaniels in New England next season.

I trust my instincts. I'm not suggesting that he's a bad kid. His relationship with his veteran teammates and his lack of understanding of what it takes to be a leader is a major cause for concern. I would care less about those things if he didn't suck last season. That's completely ignoring how injury prone he was.

The whole offense looked resigned to the fact their coach was clueless and on borrowed time. We will know much more in 9 months

Jones doesn't have the physical ability from what Ive seen. He seems to be the high floor, low ceiling type of player. He is Kyle Orton with a better coach.

If you are a starting qb in the NFL, you’d better be a leader no matter what your age is.

I have no idea if he is a natural leader or not. I have no idea if he is an idiot or not. I just stated that if you are a starting qb in the NFL you had better be a leader no matter how old you are.

I'd rather have Jones. I think his arm strength is similar to Joe Burrow before Burrow beefed it up somewhat. If Jones does the same, I can see him being a QB in the top third. I doubt Fields ever gets that high, and will likely spend lots of time on the injured list.
