Wrong about the Twins, very surprised they lost.
Sox still blow. Nice pitchin' tonight Johnny.
Sox will win tomorrow and lose Sunday.
Get this season over this quickly.

I'm exhausted. Funny. I used up all of my anger in the middle innings so I wasn't mad when the final out was made. I'm fine now. We're still in it

How abou this?

We lose our next 3. Twins lose their next 2. Playoff vs the Twins on Wenesday. We win.

I'll take it.

Twins play at 2:55 tomorrow. We'll know what they did before the Sox play at 6pm. I like that scenerio better. I hate following them both at the same time.

Beardown, I wish your scenario were possible, but if the Sox and Twins both lose out, then the Sox will lose the division by one full game.

We face Zach Jackson tonight. This guy sucks. Only 10 starts this year and he has sucked in all of them.

Problem for the Sox is Javy Vasquez is pitching and he's pitching on short rest.

I have very little confidence in the White Sox to win either of their remaining games. Bad bullpen, tired starters, and all or nothing (and mostly nothing) offense playing an Indian team playing well of late.

I have never heard the Cell louder with "Boo's" than I did last nite. These guys are pure and utter garbage.

Come on Frank, that is a little harsh don't ya think? I mean many on here have pointed out that no one expected the Sox to even be in this position this year. Sure the Sox have been bad recently and seem to be choking away the division, but compared to what most expected this has been a good year for the Sox.

If you saw someone throw his hat that was me. I can't believe how mad I got last night. I don't think my Nephew will ever go to a baseball game with me again. Ever.

No. They had this division in thier back pocket and let it get away. Starting pitching, for the most part, has been good. The 'pen has been bad, the offense has been atrocious (sp?), and Ozzie has made some bad moves.

You're right, nobody expected them to win more than 83 or 84 games, myself included. But they showed that htey were better than an 84 win team, and thus the bar had been raised-- raised by nobody other than the White Sox themselves.

They've lost I think 14 games in September now, after losing only 10 or 11 in August. 6 games below .500 this late in the season will not win you anything. They are playing the worst they have played all year right now. Its sickening.

I give Sox fans credit for at least packing the park, with 44,000 fans. When the Sox did do something good and even after they got behind, when they started to rally again, the fans were were loud in their support. I understand that tonights game is pretty much sold out as well. So good job by the Sox fans in getting out to support them. They should beat Jackson tonight-though he is a lefty. His ERA is just under 6. Then again, Javy needs to get the job done too. The Sox should have won last night. 8 runs should be enough for a win. So the pitching needs to do a better job tonight. The lone bright spot on the mound last night was Dotel, who was great. Gotta hope Javy has one of his good games tonight. I think the Sox will definitely take tonights game. Plus, they are saying that Lee has a stiff neck, and may not pitch on Sunday now. Apparently, he took a Viagra and it got stuck in his throat, so he wound up with a very stiff neck.  .....what,...no good???

The Sox raised the bar by playing great baseball and showing the pundits they were wrong. To end the year in this fashion is inexcuseable. They are all pure and utter garbage from the GM to Mike fucking MacDougal.
If they lose this division, this year is a complete failure.
Second place is first loser.

Well a borderline pitch that was called a ball in a 2-0 count is the reason the Sox are losing right now?? Shut the Fuck up hawk. Maybe there losing cause Vazquez sucks????

Crying about the umpires gets very old when you have a pitching staff that can't get opposing batters out.

Goodness, you come into this game knowing that the Twins have lost and you have a chance to take 1st place back over and you come out and suck big donkey balls. Amazing, it just seems this team does not have any heart or pride.

I predict and I am saying it like i mean it, the sox will come back and win this game tonight.

By the way, just turned the game on at the end of the inning, did aj and javy have a little dust up on the mound?

AJ did walk by him in the dugout and pat him on the shoulder.

I predict that even if the White Sox bats do come alive, their bullpen will continue to implode.

So assuming the Sox lose tonight, how do things play out?

Tomorrow if the Sox lose and Twins win, season over?

If Sox win and Twins lose, then Monday comes into play?

Win on Monday, then playoff with Twins at the Cell on Tues?

I am getting this all right?

So assuming Sox lose tonight, then their only hope is to win 3 in a row?

They play at same time.

Sox will play Monday unless they get swept by Cleveland and the Twins win tomorrow.
