I think scmitty needs a hug. He's redassed about everything, all the time, in every sport. It's not just Chicago stuff. This person sucks. That team sucks. Etc. He's getting angry because a guy that's not making the playoff roster gave up a walk in a meaningless game, helping a worse team get into the playoffs. Please don't throw me into the briar patch.

Fitting DP Lee hit into a DP to end the game.

Dodgers going to be a much tougher first round than the Mets. Should be some good games. Probably go at least 4, maybe 5.

No way in hell. The Dodgers are maybe the 12th best team in baseball, and I'm not even sure they're that good. The Mets are, at worst, the the third best team in the NL.

I'm just being real. If your bad, your going to get called out on it. Howry was bad again, and has been all season. Should he be on the playoff roster? No, but he will be, because he has the experience. As for Chicago, I'm only a fan of the Cubs and Bulls, but watch the Sox and Bears for the hell of it.

Sabathia looked awfully impressive leading the Brewers to the playoffs with a gangrene arm.

I came here to say, basically, that. That, and Homerun Howry ending his season with his trademark go-behind homerun.

Not only do I not want Howry on the playoff roster: I don't want him among the living. I support the immediate euthanization of Howry.

Look at team ERA.

Doesn't matter. The Mets bullpen is awful, which is the main reason for the difference, but you might not even see the bullpen in two games. Yes, the Dodgers have Manny, but they had to get absurdly hot just to make the playoffs with Manny (even with him hitting, they struggled for quite a while.) The Mets can rake.

That's not to say the Dodgers can't win. The playoffs are a crapshoot. But LA won 84 games for a reason, and Manny didn't make them a 100 win team with an 84 win record.

No, gotta disagree. Rather face Lowe twice at home, then Santana twice, cubs sweep and the most, 4, this series doesnt come back to wrigley.

Cubs will pitch around Manny and once the dodger are down 2-0, manny will start thinking about his new contract with the yankees. Dodger have a nice young team, but not match for the cubs at this time.

The real tragedy here is that the Cubs let the Brewers into the playoffs.

So, I guess that makes the Cubs the 13th best team in baseball.
