Oh, right, I forgot about that being your spot. When I lived in the area, I really liked Bennison's in Evanston for paczkis. The fresh strawberry, fresh banana, and cream cheese filling were all terrific.

Second best I've had in the city. The best are from the old man at Old Fashioned Donuts at 112th and Michigan.

But your average Vietnamese-owned donut place in Los Angeles is almost as good as DoRite, just not as fancy or pricey.
