i see that people on twitter have already nicknamed josh harrison "the spark plug" and lament his injury (along with eloy's injury too. no nickname tho). anyone remember the one time in life when you actually notice a spark plug?

Bernstein with Steve Stone brought up Hendriks lack of movement on his fastball. SS who doesn't sidestep much wouldn't address the comment. Referring to the shortened spring training and he'll be ok.

He blows guys away high heat. But has a penchant for giving up HR.11 of his 45 hits allowed last year were HR (24.4%).

When Craig Kimbrel was lights out in Atlanta (5 yrs 294 g) he gave up 12 HR out out 153 hits (7.8%).

Cubs fans on suicide watch because they can't even count on the vaunted attendance championship any more.

Plus Abreu seems to be winning this year in the Abreu-Rizzo argument assuming that Abreu as a Sox doesn't finish with a OPS of .000.

I think this season is Jose's swan song.

Larussa pulls every starter after 4 innings, even when they are doing well except the one guy we absolutely must keep his innings below 160 this year. Larussa did it last year with him as well.

You watch, Keuchel will get to 160 IP, triggering a 20 million option next year, despite an era of 5. 5 innings with 32 starts gets him there.

I hope to god, they don't allow it. It will fuck everything up next year.

He only went 5. If he pitches well enough to get 160, it's worth it.

Why? They still have the Machado money to spend.

your willing to clog things up by giving him 20 million next year for 5 innings and 3 runs the entire year?

Over the last two weeks, Caller Bob has 33% more posts in the Sox section than the Cubs section. Understandable though as the White Sox have 33% more wins than the Cubs :D :D

Let's take him off suicide watch and we'll all benefit.

They’re almost to the point where they can’t field the truly awful getaway day rosters of last year, but TLR still seems like he’s managing varsity/JV rosters.

Hopefully they put up 10 like they did on Sunday.

Eloy and Harrison are out so he's very limited with who is available today. There are injuries all over MLB, but the Sox definitely seem to be dealing with more than most other teams. They fired or reassigned their entire training staff last year which seems to have not helped.

Considering the injury situation, no complaints on that lineup (even with Leury starting).

The last three days have been a line of bums starting at pitcher. It's a miracle they took this series given the pitching matchups

Three home runs during a monsoon last night, only able to score today on a wind whipped pop fly. It's a funny game. I'm not even sure the Sox have hit a ball in the air to LF today.

Oh well, just keep winning series.

0-17 and hasn't reached base yet. Atrocious.

Given the injuries, he has to play, but there is zero reason to bat him higher than 9th at this point. Or DH for him and let Cease bat tomorrow.

Len and DJ is a great listen. I exclusively had to listen to the first three games and then going to TV and having to bear this cornball with no edit button, well, it's a shock to my baseball system.
