I just want to let everyone know, how much I HATE this motherfucker! He is on par with Drake Laroche and Adam Eaton.

He's like LTG. A little of him goes a long ways and a lot of him goes nowhere.

at least he's not neifi perez. i remember seeing the 05-06 cubs down in a 1 run game 2 outs bottom of the 9th and neifi comes up and tries to bunt for a base hit. seriously WTF?!?!

he sucks right now but I can guarantee you he'll end up hitting .265-.275 by the end with some really nice hot streaks. He isn't the problem as much as managers who think he is anything but a utility player. He should never get more than 300 AB in a year.

Of course. Him and Harrison are the same guy. I had assumed the thinking was a platoon at 2nd and Harrison would get some extra oddball matchup starts.

0-17 and hasn't reached base yet. Atrocious.

Given the injuries, he has to play, but there is zero reason to bat him higher than 9th at this point. Or DH for him and let Cease bat tomorrow.

Agreed.

Don't be mad at Garcia. He is what he is. Just a back up utility guy that is forced to play now cuz of a few injuries. Every team has a guy like him. When he plays every day, he's gonna suck for the most part.

Like Good Dolphin said, when he goes back to limited playing time, he'll hit .265 with a bunch of singles. Which is fine for his role.

He's in the starting lineup way more than he should be....this isn't new to 2022 or TLR....Ricky pulled the same shit. Neifi is a great comp....Managers just like to fall love with utility players. There's a role for him on the team, but he's way over-utilized.

Tony realized Garcia's .069/.129/.103 didn't belong in the 3-spot after all, so he moved him....to the 2-spot!

This is some crack research...Speigel said the last time the White Sox batted the worst OPS player (season and career) in the 3-hole was 1979 (Mike Squires, also TLR managing! ).

Leury shouldn't be hitting 3rd ever, but TLR ain't swinging the bats. 3 runs yesterday and 8 combined runs over this four game skid. 14 runs total over their last six games. Captain Obvious here, but the Sox offense is ice cold right now and unless they score more runs they aren't going to win many games.

Thank goodness the pitching started out white hot for the most part or this team would have two wins right now. Outside of opening day, the bullpen have really been unsung heroes for this club.

I hope we are done with this TLR experiment after the season.

Hopefully, he shuffles off of this mortal coil, hand in hand with Joe Brayden.

Did the Front Office have a discussion with Tony LaBiden?
