Patriots got more value than the Vikings.

Packers r gonna go defense. I hope it’s The Greek freak but I suspect it’s going to be Hill. Wyatt would be good with me as well.

The Packers still haven't drafted a skill player on offense in the 1st round for Karen Rodgers

Packers are an Aaron Rodgers injury away from being worse than the Bears, Lions, and ViQueens..

Nah, he was already on with his guy McAfee and had no issues with the guys they picked. He actually works out in the same place as Quay and said he was an athletic freak. The second rd has been a sweet spot for WRs in the past so we’ll see what they do.

Sure he says that, but deep down the guy has to be pissed. 2 first round picks with a ton of WR talent on board and you can't get one again for how many years now?

Wtf was that viking trade? They moved down 20 spots and for a better 2nd and a 3rd? Ryan pace would have paid 2 future firsts to move up 20 spots

Well, he did get paid, so maybe he's lost interest. All he needs to do is show up.

Hamilton was there at 12 if they wanted a safety. The 34th pick and 66th pick better be superstars to justify that trade. To me, it shows someone as a GM who wasn't willing to pull the trigger at 12 and took the easy way out. This after saying that 1000 7th round picks weren't worth a 1st round pick...meaning trading down only has so much value.

Disgusted.

Pace sent the Giants the 20th pick and 5th rounder in 2021 + the Bears 7th overall 1st round pick in 2022 and 4th round #112 overall this year to move up 9 spots. I think it was the first time Gettleman traded down in a draft, which tells you how lopsided a deal it was. That even a guy who never bites on a trade down took it.

That's pretty much the going rate when it involves a quarterback.

Giants may have picked up two cornerstone lineman as well. Gettleman probably would’ve fucked it up, but he set the table nicely for Schoen.

gettleman made some monstrous personnel mistakes during his tenure with the giants, but I am sure glad they traded down with the bears last year. Yes they could have drafted Micah Parsons last year if they had stayed where they were, but those two picks last night sure look like a best-case scenario for them. So glad Jacksonville and Houston didn't go OT, it just set the table perfectly for them to get exactly what they wanted. Now lets hope these guys can actually play.

I dont get what the Ravens are doing. They already did not have many weapons for Jackson and they trade their WR and draft a Safety in the first round.

"The Jets killed it"

That tends to happen with three first round picks on draft day.

I don't like their picks as much as the general population. A CB at 4 does not seem like a maximazation of value for that pick. They needed on OL and had their pick of the best and chose differently. They then had their choice of WR and while they did get one, I don't agree with some consensus that he is the top player at that position. They should have been thinking long term with Jamieson Williams. Johnson was a falling knife at 20. I think that was a case of draft "experts" not matching the thoughts of people in NFL offices.

I loved the Hamilton pick. I know Linderbaum is supposed to be great but I don’t get trading up for a center (and losing your only WR of note in the process).

It’s tough to question that front office though.
