my interest is piqued with Malik Willis still on the board. I still dont think the giants do that with other glaring needs, but if he is there at 36 they at least have to TALK about rolling the dice on him.

agreed. I think that is right around where I would value him. It becomes a waste if Jones explodes next year but is kind of brilliant if he plays to what is expected.

Willis strikes me as the kind of guy who can set your whole team back 5 years. Reminds me a little of the Geno Smith draft, where there was some perceived value in the guy because he slipped into the second round.

i agree but if he falls in your lap in the second round and you dont have to spend additional draft capital to get him AND you already have a QB and he doesn't have to start, you really aren't setting your team back anything except a 2nd round pick. If they traded up to get him and he had to start, and you staked your franchise on him it could be a disaster, but in this situation i dont think there is much risk if he just lands in your lap. If he sucks he sucks and you will probably still have to look QB next year anyway.

Is Travon Walker the 2022 version of Mike Mamula, another combine wonder?

If he doesn't get it done from jump, I'm firing the whole front office.

It’s really weird watching Kiper broadcasting from home while the other hosts are together at the draft. He looks frustrated not being able to interject his thoughts whenever he wants. It’s like he’s being punished and doesn’t look happy about it.

I thought I heard on the Score today that he is unvaccinated.

This is correct.

The Ravens have had a very good draft so far.

I like that pick by the Pats. He was a guy I was hoping would slip to the Packers.

Gives Jones a deep play threat now. Would have been good on the Bears too.

Yes - ABC and ESPN have separate telecasts for some stupid reason. College Gameday crew on ABC.

Are they going heavier on the armed forces stuff than usual?

It feels like an aggressive Yvan Eht Nioj situation.

The titans might actually be a great spot for Willis being able to create off play action passes.

It’s weird how different NFL GMs rank players vs Mel Kiper. Is he out of touch or is he just so egotistical that he thinks he’s smarter than the guys actually putting their jobs on the line with each pick? I wonder if any of them even bother to read his mocks or if he’s viewed as a joke.

Illinois, for a shitty team, seemed to get a lot of guys drafted this year.

No players from University of Texas were drafted this year. That seems amazing. How can a state that rich in football talent have a year where no one from their high profile school not get drafted

Texas needs to roll up their sleeves and get to work. The day of throwing the Texas name out there and kids just come running is over.

They just need to pay better. They still have a few years to load up before becoming an SEC doormat.

Apparently student athletes don't like that oil money as much now.

I guess that it's a helluva lot greener in College Station.
