If they drafted all linemen, I would have been good….

And Pickens and Pierce go back to back (Steelers, Colts)

I assumed the Bears would take defensive players with their first two picks, but I am surprised that they didn't grab a lineman. The CB has been linked to the Bears for a couple months.

Poles cannot allow Borom to enter camp as the presumed starter at LT, and I still have no idea what the Bears are going to do at RG.

So Poles is an idiot, yes? Can we go with that until definitively proven otherwise?

Perhaps he's waiting for the next wave of cuts.

I’d just give up on poles at this point and hope for better things in 2026. Maybe Arch Manning will be available.

if you're entering a multi-year, multi-draft rebuild, o-linemen have longer careers on average than d-backs. you should draft the positions the first year of the rebuild that will likely last longer in the league and then get the short lifespan players in subsequent drafts.

Kind of baffled here but maybe Poles is strictly doing the ‘best player available’ thing and flat out ignoring needs.

That said Brisker has 1st-2nd round grades in most draft guides I’ve seen and seems to scout well. But Poles has yet to do favor #1 for Fields since he’s been hired by the Bears.. in fact, Poles has yet to do favor 1 for the offense at all since he’s been hired.. so I dunno..

Post draft cuts and undrafted free agents are the sure fire way to building a championship roster

If somebody made the argument that Poles hates Fields…what’s the counter? Pringle?

Apparently. Maybe they'll bring in Fisher at LT.

Whatever the case, this roster is going to be abysmal.

And it’s totally going to happen too. Poles is just going to pick up an entire side of the ball via guys who’ve been cut by other, better franchises.

Man I wanted a WR at 39 too.. I do like David Bell (I think he’s still on the board) so maybe there’s still hope to grab someone like him in the 3rd..

Any guesses on 71? I’m going to assume Poles finds a below average DB that may see the field as a nickel someday.

I’m like a TE from Div 2

Bernhard Raimann, converted to OT from TE while in college is still on the board.

Darrian Kinnard OT Kentucky was supposed to be the first OL off the board on day 2, followed by Raimann.

They both had teammates on their olines get picked before them. Tampa taking Luke Goedeke and Jaguars taking Fortner with the first pick of the 3rd round.

Kinnard might be a head case? Teams probably concerned about Raimann converting from TE to tackle so late in his career.

You are going to end up with that mountain of a man from the Gophers. Pj probably hyped him up to his boy Getsy and then that got to Poles. I watched alot of Minnesota and he was just big. I wasn't overly impressed.

He absolutely cannot pass block.

Feet are too slow.

Run blocking was good in college tho.
