The Wind: She be a blowing in hard from left field acording to David Shuster.

It's cloudy today by me. Pretty sure it's the same at Wrigley. So that early fall, 5:30 sun won't be a factor like I thought.

 My god - how much Crisco was used to shoehorn Tony Gwynn into that booth?

While Panic has weighed in, RELAX seems nowhere to be found. As the old Bread song goes....Just when I needed you most... Oh well. Dempster is 14-3 at Wrigley Field (AKA-The Shrine) and the Cubs are the best team at home(55-26) , in the league. The Cubs are well rested, but kept sharp by virtue of playing contenders in meaningful games, down the stretch. They have confidence and are a deeply talented team, capable of manufacturing runs as well as slugging the ball. They have 6 different players with 20 or more home runs. It's a cool night and the Dodgers are throwing Lowe against the Cubs, so I expect a low scoring game.

Nice to see another team's #3 hitter ground into a DP. Now lets go Cubs on offense. Jump out to an early lead on Lowe.

Man we just need a thread for his mis-speaks for the entire postseason.

Every game in unique. They have not had great success against Lowe in the past, but if he misses on a couple pitches with his location, a couple duck snorts fall in....

I was watching the channel 5 news. Bob Sirot was interviewing Bill Murray from a roof top in right field. You'd think Bill Murry could have got seats behind the plate. Unless he wanted to be on the roof top.

Oh God. I have to work for a couple hours without any info sources. No radio, computer, tv... somebody send some smoke signals for me. That was a scary inning. My pulse is racing and it's the third damned inning.

Lordy.

it seems like dempster is getting upset about being squeezed by the home plate ump and then losing his control on subsequent pitches. that being said, nobody is making good contact on him...

you have a 2-0 lead and two outs and all you're doing is nibbling nibbling nibbling.

its only 4-2 but jesus christ, what a terrible game thusfar.

They're not scoring three more runs tonight. Six straight losses in the postseason. I hate this team. I feel like Dempster has been exposed as a fraud.

Dempster pitched like a pussy tonight, he looked scared. You have a 2-0 lead, go after the guys, don't throw shit off the plate and in the dirt. No way he should of thrown a strike on the grand slam, the guy couldn't touch the splitter, common sense.

Demptser didn't have his stuff tonight ,I am surprised it is not a bigger Dodger lead .
I know this will sound liek shit but really the Umpire strike zones tonight are inconsistent and how far does one of the Dodgers go with a Check swing to have it called a strike?
