This is where Poles told you he was going to concentrate. It begins today, although, we won't know everyone who will be available for a couple of weeks.

This is not going to be an attractive place for veterans at the very end looking to win. It is, however, a great place for a person looking to start and playing on a one year, show me type of deal. We have one OG spot wide open. We have a LT spot that is open for the taking. We have an outside WR starting spot.

The defense actually looks pretty good now, except for the 3T. I think we circle back to Ogunjobi. Probably need some depth at LB.

Keep a close eye on post draft cuts.

The Bears have almost 14 million in cap space to fill those needs. They might want to pick up a QB for the practice squad as well.

There are still a few legitimate starters available before any cuts have been made.

If the price is right, I would like to keep him as a starter with a greatly reduced workload.

Call the Eagles and offer a conditional 7th for Reagor.

The #Eagles agreed to release OL Nate Herbig, his agent Ken Sarnoff confirmed. Team had trade talks with a few teams during the draft but nothing materialized. Herbig, 23, signed his RFA tender last week, now hits the market as an unrestricted FA. Had 17 starts last two years.

1 SACK IN 224 PASS BLOCKS LAST YEAR!!!

He doesn't fit the zone blocking scheme the Bears want to run

He shouldn't cost that much. Why are the Eagles releasing a cost-controlled 23 year old?

Yeah that is a good question, does not make a lot of sense

That didn't stop you from bitching when Poles let James Daniels walk.

They still haven't filled that position.

I have had enough of the James Daniels teeth gnashing. He was not some HOF lineman to be given a huge five year deal.

Daniels wasn't a HOF for sure, but the Bears current RG is Dakota Dozier, who is fucking terrible.

I wonder if the Bears think they can start Kramer at center and move Patrick to guard.

I believe that Guard is Patrick's more natural position.

I sure hope they don't plan on going with a rookie at C. That sounds like a disaster

Isn't Kramer like 6 foot 290? The defense will line up a beast over Kramer every snap and immediately knock him back into Fields.

According to the measurements I've seen, Kramer is about the same size (6'2, 300 lbs) as Olin Kreutz when he played for the Bears. Like Olin, Kramer is a slightly undersized but very nimble player for his position. Kramer earned an elite Relative Athletic Score at the combine and fits the mold of the "smaller and quicker" linemen that Poles apparently prizes.

Wondering if Ogunjobi is still a possibility, likely for much less.

If JC Tretter has anything left, he would make sense given the Browns ran a zone running scheme.

The offensive guys Poles picked in the draft all had specific traits they saw as potential fits for the offensive they want to run, they likely bring in late cuts from other teams with similar traits, these guys can fill roster spots, but will not be long term answers. Rebuilding one of the worst, if not the worst offensive roster in the NFL will take time, and likely tons of next years cap space and day one/two day picks to bring in the guys needed.

Still no dominating 3 technique on the roster, the Cover-2 worked best under Lovie when Tommie Harris was wreaking havoc inside, there is nobody on the roster anywhere near that level, and that guy will likely not be on the roster until next year, Brisker could be exactly the type of safety they need to run the D, but only time will tell, but they took a shot at that important spot.

Help what exactly? How to get media jobs despite being a bust?
