They have all the right ingredients for a winless season.

New and untested coaching staff/system that will take time for players to understand.

Dogshit offense with young QB learning a new system. No potency or threats whatsoever.

They maybe bad this year, but they are not going winless.

They will get at least 3-4 wins.

Niners week 1 vs Seahawks week 4 is a wash. Geno Smith will probably take over for Lock and have his one good game a season against the Lions. While a rookie QB starting the first game of his first full season as starting QB on the road is a gimme for the Bears.

Texans in week 3 is a much better draw than Jaguars week 13. Jacksonville should have something figured out by then. While the Texans will still be trying to figure out if Davis Mills is their quarterback in week 3.

Bears were at 7 to 7.5 wins projected before the draft, Lions were 5.5 to 6 pre-draft. Post draft they both sit at 6.5 projected wins in 2022. I'd take the over on the Bears and the under on the Lions.

I'm not wired to bet against the Bears, but I would definitely go the other way if I were. The Bears aren't winning 7 games unless Poles hit a home run with the draft/free agency and Fields took a giant leap in his development. I'm an optimistic guy, so I would like to believe that both will happen.

These days, its best to sell your whole lot as early as possible for a modest profit, then pick and choose a couple of games during the season that you buy late for below face.
