if TLR decided to walk the bases loaded in the 1st, then Keuchel gave up a double, genius bob would have been the first guy here blaming LaRussa for purposely loading the bases so early in a ballgame.

Not only Bob.

The more egregious move was putting Marshall in there for a 2nd inning when he got smacked around in the first inning, when you have a completely fresh bullpen. That was just mindbogglingly stupid. TLR senility confirmed.

Yeah, I don't know if something is wrong with Crochet or what.

I'm guessing not starting the ninth with Hendriks. Personally, I take more issue with signing that buster for big money than I do with the way the manager chooses to use him.

The last time I heard anyone use the word "buster" was actually at a White Sox game in the late 90's. These two guys behind me were all over Dave Magadan for some reason and repeatedly call him a "buster." If memory serves me correctly, they eventually got tossed.

Shameful :(

Nearly two decades ago, the White Sox named a seating area after Micele that was next to her concession stand at then-U.S. Cellular Field, according to a Times of Northwest Indiana article back then. She started working for the White Sox in 1945, the newspaper reported.

Why hire a 76 year old dementia patient with a criminal record to manage your baseball team?

Yeah I read the article. Plaque is fine, but it still makes no sense. You designate a place for someone like that and then change the name to the managers name? Seems stupid to me.

Its time.

I don't know what the team is capable of because of these head scratching choices.

I hate to defend La Biden, but half the team is hurt(china dolls) and the farm system sucks and the owner is cheap...what is a better lineup now?

I'd say anything other than a DH who is batting .169 leading off.

Grandal's OBP is .260 right now, you fucking genius. As of Sunday, he was sub .500 OPS.

Moncada has had one at bat since Thursday. If he's that sore, IL him. Tony shouldn't have used him on Sunday.

Robert was activated today, but isn't in the lineup. If he isn't healthy or ready to play, don't activate him.

There are FIVE guys on the Sox hitting under .200, so lets take the guy with the lowest avg, lowest OB%, and lowest OPS on the team, DH him, and lead him off. I would rather Giolito bat for himself and hit leadoff.

Its a clown show all around at this point.

They needed at least one more legit bat in the infield and one in the outfield. The owner is a cheap fuck, blame him.

Grandal must be having nightmares every night. "oh my god, I have to swing. I have no choice. Lord, please have mercy on my OBP. A walk is as good as a hit. That's my gig."

If the defense shifts on him, he should be dropping a bunt down the 3rd base line every plate appearance right now.

Only after he works the count.

 That would be perfect Yas.

Start 0-2, foul a couple off to get the the count to 2-2, then drop down a bunt that trickles foul just before the 3rd base bag.

DFA Harrison, DL Moncada.

Bring up Carlos Perez (C) and Yolbert Sanchez (2B/SS) from AAA.

They can't do any worse than Grandal and Harrison.

Talking about Grandal on the radio yesterday, and Parkins gave the stat that for players with enough at bats to qualify, since 1970, Grandal's slugging is the lowest ever. The worst in 52 years.... and he's the choice to DH. The fact he batted lead-off, and went 0-5, is just the cherry on top of a giant shit sundae.

They scored enough runs yesterday to win with TLR's lineup. Id put that loss on the shoulders of Lucas Quintana and Danny Mendick.
