not too much a Breuer fan, but that was a good story of the SNL environment and all the backstabbing

in another interview he implied he created the 'Night at the Roxbury' characters and it was ripped off by Chris Kattan. He said they stole 20 mil from him from stealing that entire character/storyline.

My daughter’s dream was to some day join the SNL cast. She went to school downtown, and also went through the Second City conservatory program, performed on every stage there except the Main Stage, performed at some of the more well-known improv comedy theaters in the city, met some of the SNL cast past and present, yadda, yadda…and was progressively more miserable as time went on. She would tell me basically a lot of the same stuff that Breuer alluded to, and that the environment in general was just toxic as hell. It has been a few years since she got out, and she really doesn’t miss it at all.

yeah, apparently Kattan was a lil piece of shit and had problems with a few cast members. Norm had the story on Howard Stern that Kattan was all pissy when Ferrel and Oteri got the rolling stone cover for the cheerleader bit

Any corporation, political job... Well what's the difference... Yea it's all who can snake who. Disgusting way to live. But is what it is. Just weird SNL has no competition. Madtv has been off the air for years.

no competition needed. it can remain all internal since now SNL is basically a pipeline to a movie/network series/Hulu career - or so they all hope
