Mendick's baserunning should get himself cut and the first base coach and TLR fired. That is Little League bad.

Mendick is a fill in. You can live with a mistake from him. Leading off somebody other than Grandal might have worked.

Send Sheets back to Charlotte as well. I don't care about the injuries. To Drebin's point earlier, bring up the guys who are tearing it up in the minors. They cannot do worse than a .163 batting average.

Lucas is proving to be very small mentally. You have a dogshit lineup that manages to score enough to win, and he gives up 6 without even covering 15 outs.

Just another reason why this team isn't it this year.

They gave him the lead twice and he gave it back. I don't know what to say with Giolito. His numbers look great. He is generally durable. It seems like he should be better

He seems to be like Javy Vazquez with good stuff and lots of strikeouts, but melts like a snowcone in Phoenix the second he feels pressure or he's in a big moment.

Putting Leury leadoff is just a crime against humanity. Move everyone up one and tell Robert to suck it up in the first inning and just assume that Leury had already grounded out.

The more egregious move is to have Burger on the bench and another guy hitting under .200 as the DH

I gotta tell ya. I see these lineups, and it makes its real fuckin easy for me not even to watch the game. Toronto is gonna roll today.

I didn't even notice that, I just saw McGwire's name and figured he was catching and Grandad was at DH.

Look up what his career average is in Toronto. Moron.

Grandal and Moncada have to hit. The line-up doesn't matter as much as getting them going.

Burger? He's 1-9 this series, his only two games in Toronto. If you want to bash a guy, come up with something better than a two game sample size, you mentally challenged moondick.

Grandal sucks. Pay him to walk away, and bring up Perez. Hell, even Mercedes could do better.

Grandal isn’t going to hit . He may get on base but to look to him to be a hitter isn’t happening .You do gotta keep running Moncada out there until he either starts hitting or gets hurt again .

You are just fucking stupid. How would it be about Burger, fat moron? There is a reason that McGuire is DHing. He's hit well there. LaRussa is grasping at straws to try to fix an offense that is sucking.

TBH, I understood that WFR was talking about McGuire, not Burger...easy assumption to make considering he came from Toronto...

To his credit, DJ is ripping the shit out of Sheets' defense and that he needs to be coached better about not giving up the extra base.

I know TLR only has so much to work with, but I don't think I've ever seen a lineup in my life with a lower aggregate batting average:

.189
.287
.127
.247
.206
.161
.281
.198
.170

I mean, what the fuck?

When trading for David Bote would be a pretty obvious bench upgrade, that's a problem.

Might as well be 12-0.

This might end up an 0-6 road trip. 1-5 seems likely.

LaRussa’s handling of the bullpen that inning was pathetic.

He led the team in OBP last season. He was second in OPS. He is signed through 2023. It's not going to happen. So find something else to harp on. He's also not under .150 either. But numbers are confusing to you.

Or maybe the pitchers could actually do their jobs and get people out .

Explain the logic of using starter Jimmy Lambert there. Thanks.
