If I were managing this would be my basic everyday lineup (assuming everyone is healthy):

Robert CF
Abreu 1B
Moncada 3B
Jimenez DH
Grandal C
Pollock RF
Vaughn LF
Anderson SS
Second Baseman

That looks like a solid 3rd place lineup in the PowerHouse AL Central.

It's tough not to have a Hall of Fame duo like Schwisdom in the middle of your lineup!

Combined HR's
Scwindel/Wisdom = 18

Abrue/Moncada = 8

Wouldn't you kill for some Schwisdom on the south side!

And CONEtreras

Outside of Anderson and Robert, yes the offense as a whole sucks. But you're just kidding yourself if you think some of these lineups haven't been problematic. Grandal leading off, Leury 3rd, Vaughn buried at 7th or 9th. That's brutal and its a problem. Saying otherwise is flat wrong.

Just yesterday Grandal is up with the bases loaded and looks at strike three because he's trying to take a walk. Vaughn is left on deck.

Robert CF
Vaughn LF
Abreu 1B
Burger DH
Moncada 3B
Engel RF
Grandal/McGuire C
Leury SS
Mendick 2B

I'd run that lineup out there for the next 5 games straight and see what gives.

Yesterday LaRussa loaded the lineup with lefties because they have better numbers against that starter. It's the follow the computer method. He was trying something because guys are not hitting. Where guys hit is less important than if they hit.

Pollack needs to play. Engel works best against lefties.

The Sox have been one of if not the most disappointing team in MLB and continue to sink right before our eyes, and Cubs fans still make giant bungholes of themselves in this section. Awesome.

The Leury love affair is befuddling. LaRussa putting him in the lineup as much as he has cost them games.

He certainly shouldn't be batting in the top half of the order, but I'm not sure they have any better options at second unless you're going to go with Moncada or Burger over there.

Moncada hasn't been healthy enough or productive enough to automatically play 3rd everyday IMO. I'd be perfectly fine with Burger as the regular 3rd baseman and Moncada as the regular 2nd.

With Girardi fired, maybe that will get Uncle Jerry to take a second look at LaRussa's decisions.

If Moncada is not healthy enough to play third, there is no way he is healthy enough to play second.

The question I have is whether they tried to get a full-time second baseman (I do not count Harrison as one) in the off-season or just decided that Leury should be playing close to every day (second or OF or spelling Anderson and Moncada). I am not sure it is not the latter, which is a SMDH situation.

Fire him, don't, I don't really care. The next game I watch will probably be when Lynn's fat ass straddles the rubber.

Might be an option for the White Sox. At least he's hitting above .250

It's amazing how atrocious Grandal has been. His slugging is .213 (!) - even someone with zero power like Madrigal is around .250.

If the White Sox are a legitimate franchise, you have to fire TLR after today.

 What? The season ticket holders speak by not attending. How many full season holders to you think the White Sox have? It can't be more than 6 or 8 thousand.

This is a trainwreck and its fucking embarrassing. Yeah I know TLR isn't hitting a buck sixty and I know he didn't make an error that lead to five unearned runs today, but this team is a reflection of their out of date manager.

If you fired Rick Renteria because one win in the playoffs wasn't enough and you felt the team underperformed, I don't know how you can continue to stick with Tony LaRussa.

This roster kind of sucks right now. Doesn’t excuse Latinx Biden, but they don’t have an everyday lineup that looks like a pennant contender.

The White Sox magic number to win the AL Central is 109.

At this time last year, it was 81.

Why does Rick Hahn get a pass? The depth of this team is awful, and TLR is forced to play 4 designated hitters daily. These roster construction issues existed last year, but TLR overcame them.

He banked on DH Eloy not tripping over a blade of grass, Moncada to have a pulse, gave Garcia $20M, no 5th starter, a shit defense, and minimal major league talent behind the regulars.

You'll get no argument from me. But again, Hahn didn't mismanage the bullpen in the Naylor game, punt away a double header, bat Leury 3rd and at leadoff more than once, call for the 1-2 IBB, etc.

Despite the roster, this team should absolutely be no worse than 1, maybe 2 games out of first place right now. They are a reflection of their out of date manager.

My only hope is that once JERRY is gone, the organization changes their ways and we see a better team like the Blackhawks after Wirtz.

The Bulls and Sox may have the worst training staffs of any professional teams.
