Well, that about does it. Some teams are setting up for a hard fall next year

It’s probably a much needed re-shuffling of the deck in the league. I thought Payton would hang on if they would commit to Winston for the rest of his contract but it looks like the team wants to go in a different direction. Like, down.

Wait, you're saying that Payton quit because he couldn't keep Winston as his starter? Wow. Might've been time for him to go after all.

no, i think his side piece-turned-wife Skylene is holding his dick regardless. but i'm pretty sure they're not going to sign winston either.

i wanted another year with payton/winston. since, as they were going, they were 5-2.

With the cap problems trying to win with Brees, I'd been hoping for the same. Oh well.

Didn’t need a 40 year old Drew, didn’t need a 41 or 42 year old Drew…certainly don’t need a 43 year old Drew.

We ride with Jameis. Brees can’t throw a tennis ball as far as Tom Brady can still throw a football.

You know things are about to get bad when they try to distract fans with a uniform change.

Don't you and Team Nas own at least two of the garish orange Bears jerseys?

We would never wear a pumpkin Bears jersey.

Agreed. I'm just hoping that this is just another money grab by NFL Merchandising.

Why you would wear any Bears gear is beyond me. You'd be better off wearing a Julian, Hubbard or Morgan Park rag. :D

they wore this style helmet (with a much bigger logo) in 1969 as well. it's the only way that stupid gold jersey would've looked somewhat...well, no, it still would've looked awful no matter what you did.

it just makes them look like an AFL team. which they may play like this year...

Watching a podcast with Brees, Mark Ingram and Cam Jordan, I'm seeing a team culture that has me pumped for the season.

Too bad none of the Chicago teams seem to have any semblance of culture or cohesion. Especially the Sox.

5-12...Winston leads the league in interceptions.

Eh, with all the weapons on both sides, I'm thinking 12-5. At least five division wins will help.

the saints potentially have the best defense in the division. but i really don't like it when they "sound" good coming into a season. falcons and panthers will probably suck, the bucs look to win the division outright. but if the saints can muster up an offense, they could be watchable like last season.

You have a crippled QB, who likely sucks when healthy, and you'll be without your aging running back for 8 weeks. Who knows what Michael Thomas is now?

Nope, but I pulled out my SAINTS gear out a few weeks ago. Back when you were touting the no talents on the Staleys. :D

There isn't a single Staley (except the one lb) who could crack my SAINTS lineup. Certainly not when Kamara gets back.
