There is no indication that they weren't either. I'm fairly certain that the Bears were in on Chark and several other receivers who took 1 year deals somewhere else.

I agree. The Bears are going to have a ton of money next year...I figured Landry would have looked at it as an opportunity to be at the front of the line for some of that cash.

The Browns put themselves in a position where they had to give Mayfield away for nothing. The Panthers have done some stupid shit, but this is a no brainer.
