Why? A guy signing a 1 year deal is going to a place where he feels gives him the best opportunity to succeed. IMO, it's an indictment of Fields. He came off as a shitty leader last year. Receivers talk. Chark chose Goff over Fields and Landry chose Winston and a crowded receiving room over Fields.

There was no indication the Bears even approached those guys.

There is no indication that they weren't either. I'm fairly certain that the Bears were in on Chark and several other receivers who took 1 year deals somewhere else.

I agree. The Bears are going to have a ton of money next year...I figured Landry would have looked at it as an opportunity to be at the front of the line for some of that cash.

Horseshit Nas.. Landry comes here for 8 million or 9 million to win 5 games before he goes to a playoff team for 6... the Bears really fucked up.

And I got the Saints at 8 wins..

Maybe the Bears should have kicked the tires.

He's going to have a really good season and the Browns are going to look like idiots for the first time in franchise history.

No brainer for the Panthers in my opinion, $5M for a back up definitely isn't the worst thing if that is all he is and it is just 1 year.

Browns gonna Brown, who the fuck is their GM? Isiah Thomas? Terrible deal for the Browns.

Can't really ass-fuck Carolina for this deal--Panthers could probably turn around and trade Mayfield for a 2nd or 3rd round pick right now, but Warren Sharp spewing hate for the Panthers overall moves at QB:

The Browns put themselves in a position where they had to give Mayfield away for nothing. The Panthers have done some stupid shit, but this is a no brainer.

Yep. Very dumb trade for the Browns.

The Arizona Cardinals had to stipulate in Kyler Murray's contract that he studies for 4 hours a week. How do you give a guy that much money if he doesn't study?

I thought Murray was supposed to be a student of the game who didn't do much besides play sports and chill at home

Rapsheet tweeted the actual document. So it must have been the team to leak it. But why would they leak after the contract is done?

Goodwill works both ways. Arizona is simply clueless.
