If the NHL still allows free streaming of the radio feed next year, I will probably listen to the first period of most weeknight games because I like John and Troy. But the odds of me making it through both intermissions of a home game without dozing off is minimal.

If they expect me to pay for the radio stream, I am out.

They are definitely not going to be good so there won’t be a bandwagon to jump on. I, along with most Hawk fans, have no confidence in Bowman rebuilding this team. If you are going to pick a team to watch, the Rangers, Avalanche, or Hurricanes are who’d I recommend. I enjoy watching the Leafs and their exciting brand of hockey as well. Brick’s trolling suggestion of the Knights is not a bad choice but they are a grind it out, dump and chase team that doesn’t play as an exciting game as the teams I mentioned.

That's gonna be a tall order. Check out Carolina. Aho, Teravainen, Svechnokov, Hamilton, Slavin, Necas and a bunch of prospects. If they could get a goalie they'll be a contender. Plus, if they rehire their play-by-play guy the're a much better broadcast than the Hawks.
