I think the end of the last episode may have been my least favorite part of the entire Breaking Bad universe. Kim is on the way to likely get her dream job and do exactly what she has been wanting to do the entire time we've known her. She's literally in the car doing it. The stupid and pointless plan that her and Jimmy are on goes a little south and Jimmy calls her to tell her on one of the most important days of her life and then she throws it all away so she can deal with a plan that they shouldn't be doing anyways because Howard isn't that bad and it's also so complicated that it's only going to get worse as they make desperate moves to try and save it. Whatever happens to her that causes her to not be involved with Jimmy once he meets Walt is will deserved. I felt far more sympathy for Nacho than I will for her.

there's apparently an animated series that just dropped on AMC+ called "slippin' jimmy". the animation looks like your average "family guy" style. i haven't heard any reviews on it...which typically means it's not good. but i don't have that service anyways...

We need to know how Francesca found her way to work in the offices of Jimmy and Kim.

they had a preview for the cartoon and it didnt look very appealing. they're trying to milk the BB universe as much as they can. I think they know Better Call Saul didn't live up to the expectations.

Got to watch the last episode today. I thought it was decent. But it doesn't change the reality of this last season so far, as a whole this first part has been bad. Definitely will be interesting to see where they take the last 6. Hopefully we see the last 6 and completely forget about how bad the first part is.

Not don't watching yet so maybe I'm missing something. But not liking this Lalo plan to have Kim/Saul execute Gus. All one of them had to do was simply go to the police and then Lalo would be surrounded by cops with no way out. Now you risk Lalo executing whoever stays back but at the same time you create a chance for that person to be saved by the police taking out Lalo. If you move forward with Lalos plan then you're dead as soon as you return to the apartment. He kills you and erases any connection he has to the crime. Am I missing something?

There were other far-fetched things. How did Gus know Lalo would go to the laundromat? I don't recall it being established that Gus thought Lalo even knew about it. Plus, it's not like Lalo would know how to get in through the secret entrance. And would Gus really keep a spare gun in the backhoe?

The climax of last night’s show was insanely stupid. I suppose they could’ve had Gus use a really powerful magnet to get the gun and really drive home the BB callbacks; that may have made it slightly worse.

After Kim microaggressed the wrong black guy in Fring’s house, the show fell off a cliff. Now we’re left with 5 episodes to see Kim move to Omaha, Saul redesign his office and maybe we’ll get a cameo from a young Walt Jr.

Not even close.

But last night’s episode was better than they had been doing.
