Why do our double plays look like they are made in slow motion?

I heard on WGN today that the cubs were going to win today. I really think Dave Kaplan is a moron.

Harden will be with the Cubs next year, CC will not be with the Brewers next year.
Better deadline deal for the Cubs, good enough?

Sorry, I am a Cub fan. Are the Cubs allowed to turn double plays?

Dr Ken, I believe you are channeling Lou. I think he is in the same state.

Dick Stockton "time is beginning to run a little short for the Cubs" (it is the sixth inning).

Longevity does not outweigh productivity. C.C. WON his game today and carried his team to the playoffs. Harden is up for the LOSS this game and carried his team to the 6th inning in the majority of his games.

Can someone tell me if the Cubs as a team will hit over .100 for the series?

Edmonds is close to becoming a Cubbie. He struck out and ALMOST threw down his bat. Next time he sends his bat flying to the dirt in true Cubbie fashion.

I thought CC lost Thursday's game? :?

Didn't Tom Verducci play for the Cubs? Oh, no, that was Tom Veryzer.

The Brewers have a TON of money coming off the books. If he decides he wants to play there the Brewers will resign him.

Forgot the great D.Bush pitched today. Still C.C. Vs. Harden is a no contest.

Stockton - Cubs best record in the American National League this year.

Good to see Marshall pitching the 7th inning of a win or go home game.

Dick Stockton "Cubs with 97 wins, easily the best in the American, uh National league this year."

He's distinguishing from the Argentinian National League.

That being said, CC will be back in the AL next year, the Brewers won't win the NLDS, and next year, the Cubs will still have Harden. So CC will have helped get the Brewers to the playoffs, but that's about it. If you're asking whether or not the Cubs should have offered more to get CC, that's debatable. I would rather have CC, but he is/was only a rental.

I think the pressure of calling this tense, cat and mouse, "cut the tension with a butter knife" series is getting to Dick.

No, just his bat like the rest of the team. Why bother?

Wow, Torre leaves Kuroda in with a man on 3rd only up 3 runs.

He knows Kuroda is getting to the Cubs players and doesn't think we can score 3 runs with 9 outs left. *Slap in the face* to the Cubs offense. Wake up MFKERS!!!

Soriano is finally up in a situation where they might have to throw him a fastball.
