Wow. That was bad. The good news is that the Cubs have Lilly going in game 4, and he arguably has been the best starter down the stretch, so hopefully that continues. Id like to see Reed get a start out in center, he has hardly been heard from this post-season. I was surprised to see Fukudome out there tonight.

I cant see this team getting swept 4 straight, they win tomorrow, and take our chances in game 5.

Relax! Relax! Relax!

One of the biggest chokes in history. There has to be changes. You got swept 2 straight seasons with this team, someone has to go. Soriano won't be traded, but he has to be taken out of the lead off spot. These guys played like pussies. Someone has to answer alot of questions for this choke. You were by far the best team in the NL, and to fold like this is embarassing. If major changes don't occur then Hendry should be fired. Nothing like a team that will get hits when nobody is on, but when there is a base runner they swing at shit in the dirt.

I'd say in ranking the chokes, this is way down there.

1. The 1984 choke. No question.
Let me ask you somethin'. Dontfademe.com...OK.
2. The 2003 choke.
3. This choke. At least the others got to take a bite of something.

Strange. I had a good feeling about this team all year, too.

Ah well, maybe next year.

03 was still worse than this. These pussies never really got your hopes up once the playoffs started.

If anyone from that damn team says this was a great year, there ass should be released or traded. This was just a waste of 9 months.

You're right. It's all higher expectations. You want to make millions and play in a world class metropolis like our fair city, your going to have to put out. They should all be livid. Lou should deck someone just to make a point.

Bunch of heartless guys. Game 1 you have the guy who says in Feb. they're winning the World Series start for you, and he pisses on himself. Game 2, you boot 2 routine DP's. Your leadoff hitter has 1 hit, and sucked last year also. This team beat its self the first 2 games. This team was a huge fraud.

You can't choke without biting into the meat.

They didn't even do that.

The 2004 choke hurt as much or worse as this year's, but neither were as epic failures as 2003.

With Wood and Prior as dominant as they were in 2003, I thought that team had a better chance actually. Then after they got Nomar, I really thought 2004.....

For a team on the brink of going home, they looked as disintrested as any team I have ever seen. So with the winter off, will Harden be able to go his next start?

Hendry has some things to do this winter, the team needs some changes and with new owners about to happen, I am hoping they will want to make a big splash with some new talent coming in.

dick stockton said one intelligent thing last night....
the Cubs should get Manny.
Man-Ram could be the Deion Sanders (multiple championships) of MLB.

Nothing personal Doug, but where would they put Manny? We have Soriano in left field for six more years and no one is going to take him off our hands.
