I think this is the likely starting offensive line unless Braxton Jones makes a huge leap.

LT. Reiff
LG. Whitehair
C. Patrick
RG. Schofield
RT. Borom

It may not be the 90's Cowboys offensive line, but I think it's competent enough to allow Fields to develop.

Reiff is quoted as saying that the offense feels like the one he had with the Vikings under Stefanski/Kubiak. If so, more of a focus on the run than the pass. Reiff sounded excited about it.

Borom over Jenkins...that would be interesting and likely result in Jenkins not being around too much longer. The now have at least competent NFL players everywhere but at RT and going into the season with Mustipher as your starting guard was a disaster.

They're probably better on Twitter. I did see a video on the Bears account of Fields rolling to his left and making an elite red zone throw for a touchdown.

I don't follow you on Twitter, what's your handle? H.O.F.

I tried to find a ticket, but they were out of them. The new system really sucks if you are a Bears fan who doesn't know how to create a bot.

You might want to think about going to the practice they hold at Soldier Field. It was pretty good last year. I haven't checked the date for this year, but I might bring the family down from New England for it if the scheduling works out.

 I don't tweet. I'll occasionally look at some Bears thoughts on there.

The Family Fest practice at Soldier Field is August 9th. Get a ticket for that. I'm thinking about going. We could meet up!

 $10 tickets, $25 to park for Family Fest.

Fucking Bears.

Edit- Don't they generally do this in the evening? This year's family fest is a Tuesday morning.

You'll get a laugh about this but I've been twice (1 afternoon with a baseball team , 1 evening with the wife and kids). Makes more sense than going down to Kankakee county.

Despite that, only my wife is a bears fan.

Lucas Patrick carted off during practice today.

No sign of Tevin Jenkins.

Eberflus kinda said that Patrick's injury wasn't a big deal.

It was just a scheduled shower to continue removing the radioactive material he was exposed to in Green Bay. He's made significant progress.

Tevin Jenkins woke up with something. It'll probably be a pink slip in about 6 weeks.

Playing against a better than average defense might be a factor as well.

Dan Wiederer

Luke Getsy on the rockiness of the O right now: "It’s the lack of execution that I’m focused on right now. That’s what pisses me off more than anything. Right now it's getting that stuff taken care of ... and guys knowing what the heck to do."

I like that passion and honesty. I'm also okay with the defense being ahead of the offense for now.

It looked to me like Harry ran a bit of a half-assed route on that interception and didn't make much of an effort to catch the pass.

Fair. Nagy didn't care though.
