One thing I can not stand as a Sox fan is the venom from Hawk every game. It totally shuts down DJ and we end up with a contrived broadcast from some old fart with early stages of parkinsons analysis.

All year while watching CQ and Alexi bat, they both stand over the plate. It's a great battle between a pitcher and a batter as to who owns the inside part of the plate.

When CQ got hit 5 games in a row, all I heard from Hawk was how ridiculous it was and no mention as to that being the consequences of his actions and if he wants to stay healthy, they need to adjust it. This is what I hope to hear from Stone next year, REAL BASEBALL ANALYSIS.

Last night Harold Reynolds talked about how Alexi stands over the plate and the calls he and Ozzie thought were balls are actually strikes, even if they are under Alexi's fists. It was like a revelation and confirmation of me watching Sox games all year and know that the guy doing the announcing should be auctioning off farm animals instead of announcing major leage baseball games.

I hate when national guys do the games. Harold said so many wrong things. Here are a few. There were more.

-He questioned wheather AJ running was a "hit and run" or if AJ did a straight steal in game 1. I knew it was a "hit and run". You would know that cuz AJ never runs. Ozzie confirmed that to Harold after the game.

-Harold said the Sox have a strong bench. That's why they lead the league in late inning runs. What? Sox never use their bench in games. No AL team does. He said Swisher is one of the good bench guys. Right, Harold. Those .219 guys are killers.

Harold also said OC got hit on purpose yesterday because Navarro was set up outside. No fuckin way. Kazmir couldn't hit the broadside of a barn in the first 2 innings yesterday, he had zero control. And just because OC was being a jagoff yesterday, you're gonna hit him, the leadoff man, and give the Sox scuffling offense a free baserunner? What a dumbass.

Another time would have presented itself if they Rays wanted to hit OC. Plus, he plays shortstop so if you don't have a pitcher hit him, you can have somebody else go in hard to second base when he's covering.

He sure did during a "Sunday Night Baseball" game he & Jon Miller, yellow button-down shirt w/white collars & all, called during the regular season. The bullpen was awful last night after Mark Buehrle was relieved in the bottom 8th of Game 2 at Tropicana Field.

Harold said another stupid comment. He said Swisher is batting .219 cuz he was in and out of the line up all year. It's tough to hit cuz of that.

He also said its tough for a swtich hitter to come off the bench and pinch hit because you have to be in a rhythym to hit.
