Yep!
You also can't lose Cueto games where he covers 6 and gives up 1 ER.

But I also DGAF who starts. You simply cannot lose 3 of 4 to the Royals, but the Sox have been losing to them all year.

17% of KC's wins on the season have come against the Sox.
KC vs Sox; 8-7
KC vs the rest of MLB; 39-59

TLR being offended by Cueto’s rather innocuous comments is just another sign that the old man has lost it.

I don't think his comments were that innocuous. This is the second time in 2-3 seasons that a veteran World Series winning pitcher has called the team out for what seems to be the Sox not caring. As I posted earlier, where there is smoke there is fire.

Sox fans are getting the manager they wanted. Cant relate to todays players, he's going to ruin the joie de vivre of the Latino players, Timmay cant be Timmay. So when they dont hustle , show any "fire" for the game ( and boy does THAT sound like old white guy baseball ) now they want to complain that LaRussa is too hands off ?? You wanted a neutered, " let the players play" manager , well you got him.

Listen Playa,

We didn't want this motherfucker. We had everything wrapped up with the Detroit manager, and JR fucked us over. Hottest job in all of sports, and he shit the bed.

It's not really LaBiden's fault that players like COVID, Eloy, Pollock, Grandal are sucking ass, even Robert who is having a decent season isn't putting up the MVP numbers so many of you idiots claimed he would.

You wanted the guy that presided over the biggest cheating scandal in years and currently has his team 27 games under .500 to manage this team ?

I take Ozzie in a minute with this group over AJ Hinch any day.

Ozzie has an incredibly short shelf life, but IMO he was what this particular White Sox team needed 6 weeks ago.

Probably the odds on favorite for next year. No? And I would be fine with it. He's admitted his mistakes and I'm guessing he also has an improved perspective .

The guy can really handle a bullpen and staff. I know there's a little bit of revisionism when it comes to Coop, but he helped AND TAUGHT Ozzie in that area.

Coop in the aughts was fine. It was the Ventura years where he really seemed to mail it in.

Maybe if JERRY! dies we get Ozzie. Otherwise, I doubt it because this organeyezation is foolish beyond definition.

Ozzie is not getting hired. The Bernstein/white Sox Twitter reaction would be tens time bigger than the reaction to Larussa.

Coop was the best pitching coach I've ever seen in this franchise. And yes, the new quantum mechanics of pitching was over his head. And yes, he was a snitch. Jury is out on Katz, but my feeling is 99% of his time is on the starters. I'm still puzzled about him telling Cease, "2-2 is your count" to a guy who's final weakness is BBs. Wasting pitches is my 2nd pet peeve behind outs on bases.

And Reinsdorf would not care 10 times bigger.

I was going to post that this Menechino thing being responsible for the lack of HRs bothers me.

So I looked it up thinking 2020 was good, it was, and that 2021 was good, and it wasn't. So maybe there's something to it, adding in his previous history with the Marlins.

Hitting coaches don't matter. Your players just suck.

His claim to fame seems to be unlocking Giancarlo Stanton's power...that appears to be a rare exception to his other students.

Saw a blurb that prior to going on the DL, Jackie had 10 extra base hits in his last 40 games.

I do remember last week his slugging was under .400 and I thought hmm. He regressed in 2021, and he regressed again this year from 2021. In all categories.

He'd been struggling for a couple of weeks before the injury.

That's about the best lineup TLR can put out there right now. I fully expected one of his bullshit getaway day lineups.
