I'm not predicting the Bears will win the Super Bowl this year. Have you disliked how the team is prepared or the development of the young guys?

Thought it was odd that Nagy, and then all the "smart fans" at WSCR belittled Jenkins for sticking up for his QB last year, come to think of it the fact that Nagy shared the same football thoughts as that group of goods tells you all you need to know about Nagy.

The fact that Nagy is back where he belongs, fetching coffee for Reid is refreshing, now if we could find appropriate tasks for the hapless crew on the score we maybe could see a similar change in that fading franchise as well.

Hard to make a call on the team. Vegas sees them at one level and they are usually right, but will be happy to take money from everyone pounding the over.

I had them winning 5 games a few months ago. I can see them winning the following games:

49ers 9/11
Texans 9/25
Giants 10/2
Commanders 10/13
Patriots 10/24
Dolphins 11/6
Falcons 11/20
Jets 11/27

I think their floor is 5 win. If Fields takes a leap, I think they could reach a ceiling of 10 wins.

See I feel like that is pretty tame for Nas. He is trying to be objective. Obviously if Fields takes the biggest leap in NFL history that is going to mean extra wins.

Normal meatball Nas would be penciling them in for 14 wins, a Fields MVP run and a superbowl appearance.

Bears are going to win using the Lovie formula of bend don't break, opportunistic d and tight special teams.

Seems fine so far. However, I prefer to see how they do when the other teams are trying.

Even if Fields plays great (All Pro, Top 5 MVP type season), there isn't enough talent on the Bears to win 10 games this season. I know they play a lot of garbage teams, but even then 8 wins is probably their high water mark.

Agreed.

We will see if the Lions are for real soon. And if the pack can replace Davante Adams.

Part of the question regarding how many wins they end up with is how mediocre the Lions end up being. Could easily be 0, 1, or 2 wins there.

I'd still bet the under, because I don't think the Bears have enough depth to both keep enough people healthy and also beat the Lions twice. So I'm figuring either 5-12 or 6-11.

The season will be an incredible success if Fields shows he is a legit QB1, it will not matter how many wins they have if they have finally hit on a QB.

In fact, if Fields is good and the team is bad enough to get a top 10 they can then find the next Ryan Pace and fleece him for picks as he chases a QB in the draft, that would give you even more ammo for next years chase for difference makers on both sides of the ball, good three technique DT's, WR1, and OTs only are available by overpaying in FA or in the early rounds of the draft.

And we beat the browns in the preseason, so that means we will be at least 1-15.
