It would be extremely negligent if Poles doesn't trade Quinn at some point prior to the fall deadline.

KC is sitting there with two first round picks at the very end of the round and a need while their window is open. That seems a bit rich for Quinn but maybe they can get a market going if another team emerges.

It would be glorious (pour a little out) if they could make that move and then trade back out of round 1.

You think the Bears could get a 1st round pick for Quinn? I would be shocked if that happened. A third-rounder seems about as good as they could hope for; a second-rounder would be a minor miracle.

I tend to agree with this.

I am not opposed to him mentoring the kids if the the trade market is only willing to part with a 4th round pick. I believe that he was seen as a positive locker room presence.

Will be harder to develop Fields if the D never gets off the field on 3rd down and the opponent has like 40 minutes of possession a game. Unless the plan is for the D to be so monumentally bad the opponent scores quickly.

I've said all along that I think a 2nd+ is the market. I think the last two big time DE have returned that.

FWIW, Biggs agrees with TM. He said mid-round this morning, with a 3rd possible if a bidding war erupts. Salary, age & inconsistency hurt his value.

If one backs up and takes a 50,000 foot view it reveals that even a 230 pound pro football player realizes the current state of affairs in the city requires one to be heavily armed to maintain one's personal safety, this should be much more concerning than the fact he was armed, but is just accepted as an uncorrectable reality in areas of the city that have been ceded to criminal elements.

Yes, both Schofield and Reiff are good signings. Force the young players to compete for time against guys who are solid professionals but not impossible to dislodge from their presumed starting positions.
