If he doesn't get picked up on waivers a bad move by Ziegler.

So what can you tell us about this big pile of shit, Leatherwood, that the Bears just picked up...

Yesterday was probably the low point for NFL media. What a bunch of fucking morons. I actually saw a flute playing PFF jackass arguing technique with a long time NFL veteran offensive lineman. How unaware do you have to be. I was also blocked twice on twitter by a couple of blue checkmark dickheads. The Raider beat guys are garbage too. The Raider drafts have been more unlucky than anything...some 1st round misses and some huge hits in later rounds.

1. Ferrell - Miss (Mayock wanted Devin White but he hasn't been used properly since he's been here. He's a 4i end not an edge rusher and he isn't a tackle either)
2. Jacobs - Hit (Talented but can't stay healthy which is why 5th year not picked up)
3. Abram - Hit (Talented but can't stay healthy due to his style of play which is why 5th year not picked up)
4. Ruggs - Hit (Talented but drunk driving accident ended career - no red flags)
5. Arnette - Huge Miss (This guy was a bum and probably had a hand in Ruggs incident)
6. Leatherwood - Incomplete

Top 100 players Carr (draft pick) and Crosby (draft pick) and Waller (scouted from Ravens PS). Renfrow (draft pick) and Hobbs (draft pick) will probably be top 100 next season.

Made playoffs without a head coach and 2 goofs trying to scheme the offense so obviously there is talent on roster.

He has the traits you want but he needs coached up. His technique is pretty rough especially hands. He didn't get any coaching last year...or at least very little. When Gruden left Cable took over offense so I'm sure coaching of line suffered. He was switched to guard last season not because of poor play but because Cable wanted Parker at RT. With Gruden out of the way he was able to get his scholarship athlete in there. So last year was a wash...limited coaching and playing next to a bum that blows assignments.

In preseason it looked like his technique was still bad and he was also a half step behind. I think this was due to McDaniels emphasis on penalties. I think we lead pre-season in fewest penalties. I think Leatherwood was thinking about false starts because he seemed a half step behind which combined with bad hand placement is a disaster.

We would have kept him but Ziegler knew he was going to be claimed. NFL media are dipshits it was obvious. I would have kept him and challenged my coaches to get him straight. Lincoln Kennedy had a rough start to his career and turned into a pro bowl RT. They gave Parker who is a bum who specializes in giving up clean shots on the QB and RB every opportunity but they gave up on Leatherwood without even a real season. Our beat writers suck so if there was something going behind scenes I didn't hear about it.

I expect this number to increase. I've heard this McDaniels guy knows how to scheme the tight ends.

It could be worse. The idiot Jets have had 7 guys they just cut already claimed. How bad is THEIR talent evaluation group?

That is a surprising number from a team that isn't supposed to be very good. Either they are much better at evaluating talent than people think and they have players to spare or they just made a big mistake.

Inefficient is probably as good a description as any. Gruden biggest downfall was keeping Guenther around so long not the roster construction. He should of known he was an incompetent after 1st season.

I wish we would have kept Jefferson and rotated him with Nichols. Defensive tackle is a concern...

Jets remaining roster so good their table scraps are manna from heaven to lesser teams.

Or the starting RG. Either way we'd be in a lot better shape. The moves on the right side have been baffling. As bad as Leatherwood looked Lester Cotton looked just as bad at RG.

The only positive on offensive line was Brandon Parker getting hurt. That was a massive addition by subtraction.

It was at least 70/30 last season and that's being kind. It looked even worse walking around before game. I'm sure they'll be pumping in the fake crowd noise for this one too.

Nah. The people thinking this is the year Kyler Murray is going to do something are going to be disappointed...again.

Kyler Murray's potential disappointment of a season has nothing to do with what is the better late game in week one.

KC @ Arz will be the more interesting game for MANY.

I don't see how a Chiefs blowout is a better game than a knockout game rematch with 2 teams experts are picking to make a run in the playoffs. Either way the tweet was a dig on Chargers fans because their stadium is going to be taken over (Blackout). Chargers fan base is small but they're one of the most vocal on social media somehow. They've been chirping for months.

I don't see KC blowing out Arizona....Road game, and remember it's the 2nd half of the season that Kingsberry teams quit..they usually at least play the 1st half

I hope Cardinals beat the hell out of them but I don't see it. Arizona has issues with suspensions, injuries, and age.

And Kingsbury is still the coach.

Nice. Still had 2 years left on deal now he's locked up for 5. McDaniels has big plans for him. Definitely more deep ball and red zone opportunities.

Waller was open all day vs. Chargers Carr was under throwing everyone. Not playing in pre-season is a mistake IMO. Timing should be better today in a must win.
