The Texans, Giants and Commanders are looking at the Bears game and saying the same thing.

Our center against Kenny Clark is a lose lose at this point.

No fucking way Mustipher can be trusted to make that blick

I appreciate these things are lightning quick but replay shows the 2 gap was clear.

It wouldn't have been if Fields was under center.

But you know what is going to happen. In a year when they need to only win very few games to get a high draft pick their schedule is going to be weak enough to get them 6-7 wins and not as good of a pick

I'm not seeing it yet either.

But by game 12 or 13 we will know for sure if he's the guy going forward.

I don't see the Bears beating the Giants. Washington and Houston are winnable games, but it would not surprise me if they went 1-3 in that stretch. I'll just go ahead and pencil in a loss for the Minnesota game.

Amari Cooper, who still looks like he has juice in the tank, and who the Bears could have easily had...has been very good to start the year.

Fields may suck, but Poles was negligent on the offensive side of the ball

I agree with Nas that he holds the ball and looks indecisive. We need to know by the end of this year if he is the guy. But of course its hard to judge with shitty receivers and a subpar offensive line.

Luke Getsy is telling us that Fields isn't the guy.

This is it right?

Fields attempted 11 passes last night versus the Packers. I'd randomly guess that 1-2 QBs that played yesterday had 11 pass attempts on a single drive for their teams. The only reason for a team to attempt 11 passes in a game are (a) terrible weather, or (b) a huge early lead in a game, or (c) a terrible QB.

Two of those things didn't occur for the Bears last night.

 Carimi-esque.

Even then, still should have been a 6 yard completion if not for Kmet's cinderblock hands.

I guess that explains the Shotgun QB Sneak.

I hate to say it, but the nerd with short arms is looking very good at guard, why are they subbing him out for Patrick?

Agree, Jenkins has held his own for the most part.

He came up a little gimpy at one point, so maybe they took him out for a couple plays to tape his ankle or something.

Maybe patrick is not ready for full time duty yet? That is only thing I can figure. Patrick at center and Jenkins at guard has to be better.

Patrick has a cast on his snapping hand.

They are getting him into game shape so when the cast comes off, he is ready for a full workload at center immediately.

He can snap left handed and still be an updated over Mustipher.

That line will look very different when Patrick can play center.

He doesn't have short arms and I think he'll be a good player for you guys. Thayer comments questioning his toughness when he came back from a back surgery in-season and was willing to scrap for his QB were strange.

Olin gets so butt hurt when people bash his protégé Mustipher

Also how is a silent count an advantage to the DLineman? Olin clearly has CTE.

The line will look very different next year when they get a new C, RT, and LT.

A competent GM would have taken care of that in 2022.

I think it's to get Patrick game reps so he can replace Mustipher when his hand is healed.

Edit: What dolphin said.

Lovie back in Soldier Field with his lucky horseshoe should be pick em against this year's edition of the Bears. You're getting bonus points taking the Texans anything over even.

Bears remain in 1st place in the division. Tie breakers - shut up about them.

Good.

I hope they are saying the Bears are probably going to win those games - because they would be correct.

The next 6 games are winnable. I prefer the top 5 pick, though.
