Lowered expectations? Even the meatballiest, most optimistic of Bears fans had this team at eight wins. Maybe Nas had them at nine. MANY had them at six or fewer.

The Coaching staff has definitely made adjustments in game and during halftime. This was evidenced again by the limiting of Jones' rollouts in the second half. Offensively in the second half yesterday, the Bears were brutal.

Last year(January 2022 actually) the Bears destroyed the Giants, 9 months later, and they look inept against them(roughly the same Giants team).

That's called going in the wrong direction. But keep heaping praise on this great coaching staff.

Mike Glennon was the QB. Barkley and David Stills were the only two players to catch a pass in both games, and the Giants defense had like 3 guys that played in both games.

It's really easy and correct to say that the two Giants teams you reference were vastly different

2/3 of a team that didn't make the play-offs, was over rated by you, and over paid by Pace, is now gone. And we are no longer in salary cap hell.

I like what they are trying to build defensively. If done well, it's also the defense that Rodgers has struggled with the most.

So yeah, I'm going tp give Poles and Eberflus time, while you continue to complain, exhibit a lack of understanding of how football is played and also o a lack of knowledge on the best way to construct a roster.

The Bears missed the playoffs and gave the injured Giants the 6th pick in the draft. They had a lot of overpaid name guys. This team has a shitload of rookies and borderline NFL players. They're giving up 4.5 points after the half. They are clearly being coached better. The hope is that continues when the roster has more legitimate NFL players.

In terms of passing game there isn't much of a difference 2021 Glennon and 2022 Daniel Jones. Eberflus defense can't stop a bootleg.

It's true the giants have a lot of problems, but Daniel Jones hasn't been one of them, especially yesterday.

Another flat out lie by you. The Bears were never in cap hell, they had ample cap space this offseason (but yes they had alot of dead money) but they weren't over the cap.

Only because the Bears can't stop a boot...he's a big problem, that's why he won't be a Giant next year.

The giants play calling is atrocious, kept naked bootlegging Jones or running Barkley up the gut. Id have used Barkley to chip an end and catch a few screens or short passes in the flat. They didnt run Barkley outside either, saw one designed pitch to outside.

He dropped back literally like 5 times yesterday. He design bootlegged and play-actioned the bears to death. The giants ran for like 260 yards. He never looked lost or out-of-control. The Bears just kept GIVING him yards. Daniel Jones played fine yesterday.

Daniel Jones is why you will be battling the Redskins for the basement in the NFC East.
