The NFL sure loves Tom Brady

It makes sense, given the whole GOAT thing, supermodel wife, dudes always in the news, keeps the NFL on the front page of the news, sports, and Entertainment sections.

It does however seem to be resulting in the league going way too far to protect the Golden Boy. I mean you see him talking to the Refs after every play that does not go his way bitching, Rodgers does this in GB too, it exposes the league because it makes it evident that these guys have the OK to try to influence officiating and therefore impact games. The strange bailout calls these guys get are almost expected at this point, but the one Brady got Sunday completely exposed the league and was embarrassing.

Josh Allen got a similar call, from the same ref last week that also altered the outcome of a game.

Let's not confuse the fact that Jerome Borger is an idiot, and a shitty ref, with Tom Brady being good for the league.

Maybe I'm watching an imaginary TV, but Brady gets at least one phantom roughing call, phantom PI, or the ultimate bailout the illegal contact (happens every play) call every time he fails in a key situation. It puts the competitive integrity of the league into question when a guy is instantly barking at the ref each play, you get into the end of game NBA crap where the stars are getting bailed out by refs.

He's become such an unlikable cur. And his apologist fanboys only make it worse.

The league seems more illegitimate by the week.

Rodgers gets worse calls than that every week. The GOAT haters like to focus on him. That's what haters and Aints fans do.

I agree. I would say Rodgers is the biggest beneficiary of the officials. I'm done with Brady as well, but Rodgers is the bigger Caller Bob.

That's the kicker. Until he started pulling a Favre I'd been a fan back to his Michigan days.

Goat?!? Montana would like a word with you. And so would David Tyree.

We agree on the integrity point from different angles.

When you are the NFL making a fortune from sports books it might be a good idea to fire a guy like Borger rather then have him affecting the outcomes of games.

Superstar QBs benefit from biased officiating? No way!

It was a brutal call

Don't cling to the slavery of the past. Montana won because free agency didn't exist, and he had the greatest WR of all time. Steve Young proved how important Montana was. Brady has won in multiple eras and proven the Patriot Way was really the Brady Way.

At least Montana, Young et al played when football was still football. Rodgers and Brady never had to deal with a coked-up LT busting free through the line with zero rules about how you hit a QB. Nowadays they have to basically bear hug the QB and then gently place them on the ground like they're putting an infant down for a nap.

Maybe you should win 6 Super Bowls?

Brady won Super Bowls before the drastic player safety changes.
